Buyer Beware: ccrelan
Ok so I purchased a set of "used" shigspeed coilovers from this gentleman at what I thought was a decent price. Nice enough guy in person. After I get them home and start inspecting them more clearly because he brought them to my work I realized they were going to need ALOT of work to make them funcitional. They have two blown struts, both camber plate bearings are trashed, and the adjusters are seized. I realize I purchased used parts but both the listing and speaking with him in person did not in any way say they are not usable in current condition. Now on top of what I paid for the coilovers I have o replace two stuts all the adjusters and the camber plate bearings. So I asked the seller if he was willing to refund some of the cost of all this to me and his only response was no. If anyone does buisness with him make sure to go over everything with a fine tooth comb before handing him your hard earned monies. Just a heads up everyone

make sure you leave ccrelan some negative feedback with a link to this thread.

also I would keep on bothering him for a refund.

The frozen adjusters can be fixed with some elbow grease, wire brush, and penetrating oil. But the blown struts is BS. Dude should give something back. Same as the camber plates, just blow up his phone

Its the bolt inside the adjuster that locks it in place which is seized. No amount of elbow grease can fix that lol. It is bs, I would expect this
kind of childish behavior from someone closer to my age, he is steadfast in his position of no partial refund

Seller sold broken dampers without disclosing it in the listing. Refuses buyer's reasonable offer to "make it right". Ban the thief and add him to the black list. End of story.

I have and will again admit some fault in this matter. I should have disassembled them prior to purchasing. In my defense i was at work without all the proper tools needed. As far as going to get my money back, he is in ct idk were, and that is not the point. To have someone blatantly lie to me, and try to cover it with sugar is bullshit. I am not even looking for the full amount to fix them, in my opinion half would suffice
