If this is how you received them, then you're mistaken when you think that they were lowered down all the way and "slammed".

That is NOT slammed.

disney is right on the freshly rebuilt. Keyword is "Freshly" otherwise it should just state rebuilt. If you go to the grocery store and they had fruit and fresh fruit which are you going to buy and expect it to be picked as close to when you are buying it.

Only issue I'm raising it why did you install them? If I were the seller I would offer 50% and if I was the buyer I would only want 50% back since I installed them. If I never installed them I would expect 100% back. Thing is you are partly to blame for them going bad without proof (solid proof) of them being blown before racing on them. Maybe a photo or video of them after install and showing how the rebound was f-ed.

Just trying to offer a suggestion for both of you to quickly remedee the situation. That is all.

Disney I do recognize that you are getting a little f-ed over on this, but you have to see that for all purposes jer probably though his rebuild was good. You really can't fault him for sticking to his guns after you raced on them anyway.

Uhhh... Yes they are. See the threaded part? In this picture those threads go all the way tot eh bottom of the mounting "sleeves" or the Orange parts if you will. I mean... All the way down. If needed I could pull them off and show you how they look when they are not slammed and adjusted to a reasonable ride height. Although, i'm not trying to prove anything here so that shouldn't be needed.

Per K-sport you are supposed to have a lock ring on the bottom. Which it does. This is for load transfer with strut housing design. That is as high as you are supposed to raise them.

So the picture isnt how your got them, the height and adjustments were totally changed yes, no?

Everyone here is saying he's a good guy. A good seller. Wouldn't scam me, etc. etc. THAT"S WHAT I THOUGHT TOO!!! So when I'm buying parts from a "GOOD SELLER" why would I go through and double check the parts (of which I have no expertise or experience) before I install them?

And WTF are you talking about that i'm partly to blame? I guess female rape victims are partly to blame for having a vagina to start with. In no way, shape, or form could I be in any way to blame for a guy ripping me off, selling me busted parts advertised as "Freshly Rebuilt".

What? They do have the lock ring on the bottom of the mounts. That's where the sleeves (silver threaded parts) were adjusted to. They were bottomed out against the black caps on the bottom of the mounts. In this condidtion, the car is slammed. You have to unthread the silver part from the mounting part to raise it up. On these that was about 3". They were retard-o-slammed.

Wow with the rape comment. I guess after i sell perfectly good parts to people i should wait a month after they install them and do whatever it is they did and then just offer up their money back when shit didnt go right for them. Perfect reasoning there with the rape comment.

Picture is how I got them I think. I don't have a pic of when they came in to compare them to. Only thing I can see in the pics that doesn't show is mine had a a rub mark where they were bolted to the rear and the orange mount was gouged, but that didn't affecet performance. I assume it is rolled over in this pic as to not look like ass to the buyer.

Freshly rebuilt, vs. rebuilt recently, vs. rebuilt. Semantics. They were rebuilt, as if to say that they were repaired. Who cares if it's 1 day or 1 year, they were rebuilt. I agree with you in that they shouldn't have even installed them. Buyer accepts responsibility for the product once the product was mounted IMO. You no longer have the burden of proof that they were busted before you mounted them and raced on them.



So they're lowered inside of the sleeve (don't worry I have coil over suspension on my WRX, I can follow) to the base of the sleeve, and that means they're slammed? You still have full shock travel. I don't see how that's slammed. I'm no suspension genius though.


Bottom line: I may squash this all together. You both fucked up, but the Buyer accepts the responsibility of the product once installed. There's no reason why you should have installed the coil over setup if you had reason to believe that they were jacked up.
