Just to point this out....I warned people that the trans was probably worthless and might want to check into it more as it was completely different from the proper year maxima and spec V trannies and even posted comparison pics. I did mention if it was in fact a maxima trans the gears may work but might want to look into it more and it would have required a complete p12 trans in order to work.

And thats why you should pay more attention to those who have done the swap before when they give you advice and say something doesnt look right.

I know Richard personally as he is a fellow VA member. I sold him a motor and I bought my B15 from him. I haven't spoken with him in a while but he was always a stand up guy whenever we talked or did business.

Although this transaction for the transmission seems like a fail, I am hoping he can remedy it for you. I don't think he deserves to be blacklisted for it, though.

and I said given that it was a maxima trans, i was willing to see if the gear stacks would work in my P12. (from Miko)

Gottcha. With easy access to information you could have asked Greg first and gotten the numbers from him first but i guess thats why they say hindsight is 20/20

I can vouch fir the guy ..... he has driven for over an hour for pizza, and to beer lol help out a complete stranger (me), and he got me running. I don't think he intentionally mislead you. He's a straight shooter, although he does change his phone number more than your local meth dealer! !!!
