Boostlee, none of that would be necessary if the vendor would have posted that he's going to make it right. That would have been the end of it. It would then be up to cherry love to collect. As far as I'm concerned, cherry love shouldn't have to lift a fucking finger any longer. He's done enough.

I absolutely disagree, if any Joe, Jerry or Johnny started coming up to me, asking me to replace their hood because of pictures alone I would run his company out of business. If the customer doesn't want to follow proper protocol we are unable to assist them, I feel maybe that's what could have happened last time.

Cherry has done nothing wrong, he is just expressing his opinion on the product, one year later, but now nonetheless, but without all the detail no one here can make a judgment.

Do you guys even know what your rights are as a Extreme Dimensions customer? Let me break it down for you guys and tell me how this possibly sounds shady...

I really don't have much to say to the non believers. But I see where you guys are coming from because I was once in all of your shoes. Before I started working here I didn't hear much positive feedback about Extreme Dimensions. I know that they have had issues in the past and we still continue to face issues today. But, we do not ignore customers that have a legitimate claim and have filed it within the window that is given to them. What do I mean by legitimate? Well, your bumpers doesn't fit right, the hood is chipping, the bumper is too wide, etc etc. We don't expect anyone to keep a "shotty" part.

We have over 7000+ different applications, pretty much any and every car that was made from the 80's and onwards. We can't bring all of these cars to test fit the parts so we don't officially know how everything fits up until a customer complains. Most of the parts are test fitted before we send the molds over seas. But, since all of our parts are hand made and hand trimmed, each part is a little different. I can pull out one item a day from a single mold if we let it cure properly. Since these pieces are not machine made, we are able to pass over the savings to the customers.

Your rights as a buyer going through Extreme Dimensions directly:

If, your part(s) do not fit and/or are damaged and you have not modified or painted our products in anyway. We will send you a Case worksheet requesting pictures of the bumper dry fitted on the vehicle. If there are suggestions we can give you on fixing the problem we will. Sometimes our Customer Service department sees ways to fix the problem that our customers miss at times.

If your part is classified as "Defective" meaning with all your attempts there is nothing you can do to make it right, we will follow our protocol to ensure 100% Customer Satisfaction:
  • First time, we will send you a replacement piece at NO ADDITIONAL COSTS, meaning we cover the shipping for the item you have and we cover the shipping for the new item we are sending you.
  • Second time, if the 2nd part also doesn't fit, then common sense says its a mold issue, the mold will be put aside to make the necessary adjustments/corrections. We will give you partial credit for your purchase so you can use that money towards modifications.
  • Third time, if you don't want to modify the bumper or have tried after our suggestion to modify it and it still doesn't fit, we will give you back 100% of your money including your shipping costs.

There is no other aftermarket company out there that will do this for ANY customer. We've realized that no one can be perfect and if we make a mistake we will take complete responsibility. Don't believe everything you see on the internet, maybe the customer bought from our wholesaler and maybe the wholesaler decided they didn't want to help the customer. This is why we are on the forums, so we can see what the public is saying about our products. All I can say it protect yourself and buy directly from the manufacturer. I will get you taken care of if there is an issue.

Your immaturity is evident in this post. I don't need to clarify our company's intentions to a person like yourself.

Do some real R&D, bloody cowboys. Whats your dimensional variation within production? Do you even have a tolerance band to which you work? If so what is your measurememt spec and the gauge R&R and instrumentation MSA on your measurement procedures? What are you process controls for making the parts to repeatable quality and do you have a PFMEA in place to eliminate potential failure moides?. I'm guessing you can't answer these questions as you don't even trial fit prototype parts. Anyone in manufacturing thats worth dealing with should be able to answer these questions.

Extreme Dimensions, per your customer satisfaction policy... cherry love's hood doesn't fit. The leading edge corners are absolutely atrocious. He has provided you pictures (forget about the run-around he got a year ago from your company) to that effect.

Will you be shipping him out a new hood free of charge?

Or are you going to hide behind some bullshit time window fuckery?

I suggest you watch your language, if Cherry has you to back him up, he won't be getting anything.

I suggest you man the fuck up and treat our members with some fucking dignity, and maybe stop running your company into the fucking ground while you're at it.

We've heard it all before. We all know exactly where this is headed now. We've seen the same exact script run over and over again by pieces of shit like you. All excuses. No action. They are all beat-to-death excuses. You're not going to do dick-all about this situation and now we all know you never were. Except maybe run your name into the ground around here and anyone with access to a search engine. Tying someone else's good (or bad in this case) treatment from you and your company to someone else who isn't afraid to shine some light on the situation is complete coward territory. The sooner you fuck off, the better we will all be. It's been nice knowing yah, asshole.
