The old carbon creations badge tells me that this hood was bought quite some time ago as well because we haven't used those badges for at least a year or two now. Since then we've changed a lot of the quality control procedures. We've also upgraded our customer service to the point where we strive to make each individual customer fully satisfied. If you were to show me pictures of this hood the way you have it now, I would have replaced it for you free of costs. You should not have to pay for something that does not fit properly. Since its Carbon Fiber you can't even really modify it in anyway to fit. So I understand your dilemma. I apologize about the quality of the part you received but I can assure you that it will not happen again, especially if you buy directly from us, the manufacturer. PM me and I'll see if there is anything I can do to still help you out! Thanks!

If you bought it last summer there is not much I can do, because our policy only allows us create cases for orders no older then a month. But still send me your pics and your sales order number and if I am able to assist you I most definitely will!

this shows me the company is willing IF they can . i think it also shows that we can rely on a company that can help the members out if a problem occurs .

dude need to just chill .

They are completely legit, I agree.

But, he has not taken the steps laid out by Extreme as of yet by contacting him, posting pictures, etc. I still feel like there are pieces to the puzzle missing here and he is not even allowing time for Extreme to address said issues.

I am not standing up for either side, but I believe in a fair trial, simple. Allow Extreme some time to respond instead of just jumping the gun at the first prospective.

We still do not know when he bought it (I have not seen any receipts yet), who he bought it from, etc. Everything to me, is as clear as mud at this time and all I see is a pissed off person, with sub par pictures and no proof of purchase who wants compensation in the form of $$$$. As far as I am concerned, I would ignore this fellow too if I had a booming business, simple. But give the other party a fair trial to address these issues before jumping on the bandwagon (even when presented with a majority of the people loosing money on previous GBs.........)

C,

I agree his/her complaints are legit. But, respect is earned not given. If this individual is approaching me in a manner in which they clearly are being "child like" what am I suppose to do. I asked him/her to PM but now they are going around trying to ruin another possible group buy. Am I really suppose to say more then, "PM me and we'll see what we can do to help."

This is EXACTLY the reason why we have no aftermarket parts because people simply do not know how to handle various situations...........

Look at his from his perspective.. he's obviously highly agitated, and has had a bad experience, which was just recently brought to the surface by the group buy.

Demanding his respect and calling him a child after he's been mistreated by your subsidiary company isn't going to help anything.

Car forums exist for the benefit of their members first, not the vendors.
