I do agree he should have mentioned the info in the thread but seriously if youve been apart of this forum for the past 3 years youd know this car...

I am very busy between school and work so I don't spend really much time on here browsing other members cars. I tend to read more of the technical threads and watch builds like STRATTON's.

Either way I know I purchased a used car but fair is fair. I offered him a good deal but he knows that he probably couldn't even sell this car for $2000 now.

This sucks. I was eyeballing this car since it was posted. I would have also flew out there and drive it back. I would have asked a local member out there that's reputable to inspect the car for me before making a decision. Hope something get's resolved. But like a few people have mentioned, Private sold cars are AS IS.

The AS IS rhetoric is out the window because the seller fucking lied.

He was asked "Got rust" and replied "NOPE" in the for sale that was recently locked by V.

The seller is a fucking meatball for lying and what I think, openly slapping the forum in the face since we all have followed this car in its adventures of being a forum slut and know it has rust.

I thought Chris was a good guy, but he fucking lied to everyone on here and now the thread is locked like it should be so he cant go around ninja-editing shit.

Looking at these pics look like the car has the wrong lug nuts and like it is missing the washers that go on trhe axles before you put the nuts on , so you can line them up with the cotter pin holes ...

This pretty much sums it up. No excuse in the world justifies that shit. As a seller it is your responsibility to be HONEST. D bag.

I find it amazing he says nothing to forum in an open statement. Just pops on here to see what is up and goes on with his life.

I really appreciate everyone's support. I think I'm going to get a price from my buddy to repair the back panel or maybe get a price on cutting the whole thing off and welding on one from another car and getting the whole car painted and selling it. It's just got back karma.

I can only hope I won't loose too much money.

I would weld a new section and do it right if you are going to fix it..... I have no respect for the seller at this point but still would like to hear what kind of bullshit he has to say about this. Two bad reviews in the last few days..... I hope he is blacklisted and doesn't have a chance to sell anything on this forum again. D-Bag Certified & Official
