I've been modifying SR20's for years now, and this company is without a doubt the most professional and reliable one I have ever dealt with.

I needed a clutch last year for my turbo car, and gave them a call to see what they had to offer. The salesman / engineer, Andy, spent close to a half hour on the phone with me discussing horsepower / torque expectations, driving habits and purpose of the car, with an uncanny attention to detail. After we decided on what would be best, he sent me the list we had put together attached with my invoice. He then called to let me know when the clutch was shipping and to provide a tracking number.

Fast forward to this year, a few weeks ago after coming to stop on an exit after some spirited driving, I realized the car had trouble going into gear. After taking off the transmission I realized one of the springs had come loose. I called Andy told him what happened and he issued me an RMA number. The clutch and PP were shipped back, fixed, re-surfaced, re-painted and then sent back to me. Everything was communicated to me during the entire process as well.

If any of you ever need a clutch, I HIGHLY recommend this company.

I also have a south bend clutch, and it's true that the guys are great. I was ready to buy a more expensive clutch from them, but rather than just taking my money, he spent a good amount of time on the phone with me explaining things and talked me out of it. I picked up a different clutch from them, and I am very happy with it.

^^ Yup. I almost forgot, they are the only company I found, that offers a 12 month / 12,000 mile warranty on clutches. They are that confident because they actually ask you everyhting first and then build your clutch.

If you don't mind me asking... what was the total cost? This is interesting.

Tokes,

I got he DXD-F Stage V with the SS Pressure Plate rated for 450lb/ft of torque. The cost for that setup was $395 shipped (last year). Because it was so much cheaper than the ACT alternative, for which I budgeted, I also got it cryo-treated ($330 base, cryo $40, shipping $25).

Rally Series starts at $175, the TZ Series at $265 and the DXD Series at $330. If you don't know which one to get, call and ask for Andy, by the time he is done you'll both be positive which one is right.

I got the dxd stage 4, it's a 6puck sprung. Good for 395 lb/ft of torque. Cost me $350 to get it to my door. And that came with a 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty.
