Until I feel I got what I wanted, I won't stop. I am stubborn as a mule and this won't stop me. This is a proyect I started back in 2008 and I have not finish it yet.

I just paid the machine shop AGAIN to double check head, fix the broken stub and replace it and tomorrow they will come to my house to profesionally polish the walls of each of cylinder so I can put a fresh set of RINGS (cost me (120 shipped) + replacement of 2 pistons, one is totally damaged (broken rings) other has minimal to none but better do it. It was good for me to have these 2 good spares from other engine I had

I will share pictures later.

So I am adding $$$ money to:

Pay mechanic labor (100 dlls)
Pay machine shop (100 dlls)
Pay headgaskets (2 now @ 65 each)
Pay rings (120 dlls)
2 used pistons (40 dlls)

Not counting a thrown Mobil 1 oil change and a prestone 5 yrs antifreeze gallon

So far... 425 dlls EXTRAS are coming out of my wallet... DAMN!!!

Good news is that rod bearings came in excellent shape.

HOPEFULLY everything gets together excellent and as expected.

Honestly, refreshing everything and getting it all installed and done right is worth the coin you had to put in, I think he should pay you that $425 though.

100% agree. And please check the following.

Today, I got a PM from other member (I do not mention his name for obvious reasons) telling me this:

*************************************************************************
Kevin Edwards

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

305-801-4169

That is his phone number.

**INFO HERE WAS EDITED PER SENDER REQUEST. I DO APPRECIATE HIS HELP AND SUPPORT THIS IS WHY IM EDITING IT

In other words the motor was sold knowing it's current condition. Sorry you got scammed.

*************************************************************************

I do really appreciate this kind of info and help guys. I've been trying to reach him but I get no answer probably because he is seing it's an international call (I'm currently living in Mexico so imagine all the hassle I've been through)

I need your help.

Can someone call him and ask him to contact me to fix this. I'm willing to pay for the calls you make.

Also, as I paid for it back in Dec and he took the double the time to ship it and moved all of my schedule, more than 90 days have past and I can not raise a claim on paypal.

If someone of you guys RECENTLY (less than 45 days) pay him for something I need your support by raising a claim so he reacts faster than he is doing now.

As forum members we need to support ourselves vs. this kind of scammers.

PLEASE HELP ME GUYS

And here are more pics...

Head after being double checked and with removed and fixed VC studs

Here's the replaced stud.
Check how clean head is now after being 2 times in machine shop

Pistons were carefully removed to avoid any unnecessary damaged. Rod bearings look nice and clean.. I won't replace them this time.

HERE'S ROOT CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM!!!!

Broken rings and piston too, came out in little pieces

This is where it was taken off, see wall marks

Here's another pic from a non damaged cylinder wall

Tomorrow the owner of machine shop will come home to polish all to be able to put new rings and pistong back in.

Hopefull guys you can help me get Kevin to respond to this issue.

Thank you SR20-FORUM members.

Thank you. I guess that is the less he deserves for what he did to me.

I am just saying exactly what happened no more no less.

I guess no one would like to give away $425 (+ small extras like silicone, loctite, cleaners, gasoline to pick up parts and move them) just because you were tricked (scammed) by someone you trusted.

Hopefully one of you can contact him and let him know he needs to be a man and respond to this.

There's a flip side to that.......... If the claim is legit....... ALL the forum members call him, might get some action..... Maybe not the proper action, but def see results!!!
