LMAO...yea that's exactly how it went down. There are so many inconsistencies in your story.
First, you didn't come outright and say you raced it...I picked up on a side comment you made in an email after I told you I would buy it...something about "19* timing" and "taken many hondas"...I state that “I should've went with my gut on this” one after reading that but you said it was a good motor so I still go thru with sell...(you seemed like a straight dealer thru conversation.) Also, I understand that there is rarely a “money back guarantee” when buying a used motor but you make it sound like you actually mentioned the words “as is no warranty”…which is also not true.
Second, the deal was for a "good" motor that didn’t require a rebuild…drop in and go. That was not what you sold. And on two different PMs, you state you will take the motor back and give me my money back but I guess that was more lies.
Third, all this originally derived from one single post where I asked "are you sure this motor hasn't been overheated?" like you originally stated to me before I purchased. The question was asked for obvious reasons after I pulled the intake off and examined the motor more closely. My only mistake was asking the question in the wrong forum...it was the first thread I spoke to you in. Then you get all butt-hurt and say I’m dogging you in the forums and you don’t like the way this deal has gone down and you are severing all ties….seems very convenient.
And as for you thinking I bought the wrong motor...laughable! Changing an intercooler pipe or even just an IC hose is an easy fix...
Bottom line is you were advertising a good motor and that is not what you sold...and now you think you can somehow spin this around to make ME the bad guy when YOU are the dishonest person who didn't sell what they were advertising.
