No one I know will ever do business with you again if I can help it.

when i mentioned that the shipping was going to be killer ($94) the buyer didn't budge and didn't ask for insurance. before i sent it, it did not have the damage seen in the pics.

i'm sorry, but you get what you pay for, and you paid nothing for shipping. i have already taken a loss, and i would suggest taking tje $100 you get from fedex for damages and repair the head. that is going to be the best outcome.

if i get banned for this, i will live with the consequences, but i have made numerous transactions as both a seller and a buyer and i have never been confronted with anything like this. my avitar is letting you know you are number 1

i'm not going to get into a back-and-forth on this.

-im a cheap skate? i put up a wanted thread, and then while looking around the wanted section i saw you telling someone else you had one. i pm'd you or text'd you from there...yes indeed i offered you a low ball price because as i stated in the text msg's that the VC was wrecked, the vvl badge is missing, no pigtail for the solonoids and i forget what else exactly i put...you replied no and then replied i can do $480 shipped, i was buying this for someone and putting it into his stock b14 se-r...you should have replied with a higher price not "sorry phone died, i can do $480 shipped" after i text "no dice i take it"

-even loosing money what's $10 for a rubberbade container to put that in, and some packing peanuts/bubble wrap? you act like i was persistant about a certain price but you counteroffered and lowballed yourself. you should have stuck to your guns and said NO or something higher like along the lines of $550shipped or something, i would have still payed that. what i paid is completely your fault so now that the pkg is FCUK'd and the head is pretty much useless when i get it you dont car cause i paid $480shipped(your price you gave me) and it is my fault? and that is a reason to tell me NO when i say ill send it back, refund my money and ill get one that i KNOW will be fine and packaged correctly from Miko, i think that statement is completely justifiable and OK...in which any case i should have done from the begining and now i regret not doing so.

so say all you want call me a dead beat, or whatever you want...that is cool and perfectly fine, you may have lost $100/150, but i am now out $480 that he gave me to purchase it from YOU, a deadbeat shipper, and $1.50 for the MO...so i will make sure i never buy anything from you ever again and ill just have to post this on all the other forums too just to let everyone know what a scumbag you are.

-also this just came into my mind, originally you told me to send paypal to you marking as a gift to you(i would not be able to dispute it if there were the need, in which there now is) my dumb ass decided to send you a postal money order in which i could still do something about, and i should have just sent it through paypal as a normal transaction but i didn't really want to put $15 of mine into it so i bought the MO and i needed stamps anyway. so the MO was sort of justifiable...so with that being said it made me think that it was already wrecked and you needed a way to dump it off and not lose the money when the unsuspecting customer got the wravaged head that would suit best as a dam anchor.

i think the best option is that i send it back to you with a nice little envelope taped to it with some cash inside to pay the delivery guy to toss it through your windshield for me only cause you are 1800+/- miles away from me in which i'd simply do it myself....K thanks bye

you're complaining about taking a hit, all of us have to once in a while and loose money on stuff. that is what always happens and you NEVER EVER get what you paid for parts reguardless of the condition, if it was ever used wheather by you or if ever at all. i lost my shirt when i parted my old black car, selling parts for 1/3 while being bundled with other stuff, i didn't complain one bit because i wanted it gone...that's how the game works, you should know that.

prefect example-BRAND NEW in the box still t3/67 HO that i paid $1360 for after the coatings and other BS i was offered $700 for i obviously didn't take it for 1, had a buy for $950 and also i would just keep and use it but that is irrelivent. im done now!

first of all, i am not complaining about taking a loss on the head. i expected to lose money on it. i am complaining that i asked for shipping, you decided you didn't want to pay for it after i told you it was going to cost me a lot to ship it. so you're right i didn't spend any additional money on shipping. i sent it to you in the exact same box i received it in undamaged. despite what you want to believe, the head was not damaged when i had it in my hands. i sent you pics as you requested and would have taken more if there was any question.

i brought up what you said about miko to show how cheap you were being. i'm not sure that i believe that miko sells heads for $550 shipped for that matter, but i could be wrong. i actually lost $220 on the transaction fyi, but like i said that is not the issue. you took every opportunity to cost cut, and so when i went to ship i worked with what you gave me. if you were concerned about the shipping then you should have asked at the very least. this is my first time shipping a head.

i told you that i would not accept paypal, because you wouldn't accept the $12 difference i was asking to cover the fees. ordinarily, i wouldn't ask for fees except for you were already low balling me so i thought that was fair. instead you wanted to send me a money order, because i guess $12 was too much. AGAIN, by cost cutting you removed another layer of protection that you had available to you but chose not to take advantage of. don't act like i was trying to sell it as a gift because i was selling a broken product. that option was available to you. instead of sending paypal you took a picture of the money order you would hopefully send me and i sent your head out in good faith that it would arrive, which it did. you are spreading a lot of misinformation in this thread.

like i said, i'm not upset about taking a hit. i have also parted out a turbo project that i had and never expected to get back what i paid.

you lost $220, and chapnutz lost $450..

thanks for another lose/lose scenario on the forum caused by your crappy shipping choices.

like i said, i would suggest going to fedex and getting the $100 they owe you and put that towards the repair. if you want to let me know how much it cost you beyond that i'll consider helping you out.

chapnutz1, I have a saying never throw good money after bad money. That head is in bad shape. Also you can not just change the dist cam cap without line boring it to the head.

I would sell this head for parts.

Valves $15 a pc = $120 ( These will sell within a week )

Rocker arms $40 a pcs = $320 ( This will take some time, but I get call for these things and at $150 a pc new they will be gone )

Sell head to MazworX core = $100

selenoids = $80

Stock cams $50 Shipped ( I would buy them )

Idle control valves from VE = $60

Well depends on how much I get the motor for, $550 - $600

Shipping is usually $100 extra.

I ship my heads in Uhal boxes 24.5 x 24.5 x 18, load limit 120 pounds. Box cost about $8.

It takes me about 30-40 mins to pack everything. The bottom of the box is covered with 3-4 other boxes to stregthen the box and make sure nothing brekas through and damages the head. The head is packed in a garbage bag so no oil leaks out. The head has about 3 to 4 inches of styrofoam around it so nothing breaks though or that nothing touches the head. Then the intake manifold is put into the box and then packed with styrofoam and then whatever remaining parts. I always dissasemble the head so that it has not water necks or VVL selenoids on it.

I have never had one damaged that I have shipped yet. I take alot of time and pride in what I do.
