The only thing bad about that is that anybody can look on the forum and see where you live, and what you have. We need to have something where only the admins can see personal information so the sellers dont get screwed.

You don't have to post your address to where you live. That information is already given upon tracking confirmation anyway. You are to supply full name, contact info (phone, email), and prefered payment method plus post pictures of items being sold.

So i just got off of a 30 min conversation with Jorgie and he is a very honorable guy just stuck in a very shitty situation. He is even willing to pay everybody off even though he has no money and to go that extra step just to make sure that everybody gets their money back. He has contacted authorities already and is currently talking with paypal to try to get into his account because his password and security questions were changed. Basically the only thing we can do is wait and see what happens. I told him I will try to do the credit card charge back thing so he doesnt have to pay me out of pocket because that would be pretty fucked up. He told me the guy he sold his b13 to is currently on this forum and he was pretty sure that his avatar was that black b13 with the stillen lip. He also mentioned the guys location sounded something like rat dump, idaho or maybe thats what the locals call it, but he is doing everything he can to get this situation corrected.

True.And thank you for giving us your input on this.We all appreciate you trying to back him up.It makes me feel alot better knowing someone on here knows him very well.If everything you said about him is true,we have nothing to worry about.

I spoke with Justin again today.He called me ,just like he said he would to give me an update.He plans to start sending something to everyone ASAP
Since he has no computer,and I am on here every day,I am gonna try to keep evryone updated.
He asked me if I would gather all you other guys info,like Screen Names,and Real Names,email addresses,phone #s and shipping adresses.He needs all them to match up the Paypal amounts with the buyers.
You guys can PM me this info ...I will make some room in my inbox.

Once this all gets cleared up...I would love to see you do your detective work to help Justin find the a-hole that really scammed us.Technically,he lost more money than each of us since he didnt get any of the payments,the other guy did.

How in the world would we know that? It is not "wild assumption" when the facts are clearly pointing towards thee prime, and only, suspect. It is a working hypothesis based on facts.


Once again, how would we know any of this? You have credibility within this community, and my personal respect. But Jorgie? He is not a well known entity, a regular, nor an OG, on this forum.


Not everyone uses or used Paypal in this current scenario.

I've PayPal'd, sent personal checks, money orders, and brought folks cash green money. All within recent months, all on this forum.


Pretty much, based on known facts at the time, that this guy lost his mind, or fooled folks for a while, and in either case, he blatantly ripped off several members to fund his Christmas.

Which is an extremely ugly current trend that has everyone very uptight, cynical, demoralized, defensive, paranoid and punchy. Forum wide.


The facts were that folks got ripped off via Jorgies account. It is a completely logical hypothesis to look at the owner of that account as the prime, and only, suspect. That is why there are passwords on accounts. So only one (1) person controls that account.

However, you are the first person to show up that personally knows the guy. In fact, he has been aware of this thread for a few days, but has not logged on, even under a different forum user name, from the local library, to address the situation.

I am not alone in thinking that this thread involves anybody that has a pulse on this forum. Look around Lance. Plenty of threads with plenty of folks discussing on-line con-artists.

This is....sigh....yet another fucked up, drama intensive, giant suck-fest of folks getting ripped off. Adding in your friend Jorgie, and five or six more forum members got group-fucked in our Classifieds in this thread alone.

Sorry to have upset you Lance, but our reactions were understandable and justified. Sorry to see your friend is added to the "Fucked" list. Sorry to see another scam-artist, theiving, con-man run off with folks hard earned money.

Are you talking about Rathdrum, Idaho.....that is where one of the dudes I talked to last night is at ....if Jorgie needs help I can try to lend him a hand as well , I understand I jumped the gun in making calls , but people got ripped off here that are more then just forum friends to me, some of them are good friends of mine , and I will always do what I can to help them , me and my friends have no tolerance for that type of crap . I do what I can to solve it as quickly as possible .....I wish him the best in getting this figured out .....if I can help I will , I want to purge the scammer element from my community ......I am not trying to be an Ethug , I am just tired of this crap ...

I live here in Idaho, and Post Falls is small enough that the police don't automatically bury something like this. This is not just a "scam", it's criminal intent.
Shawn B is right, Justin needs to report this to the police and provide forum members with the police report number. This will help Justin clear his name and it's the most proactive step he can take to help get money returned and see that justice is done. If Justin's lost money he should have reported it to the police by now.

This is beyond the point of a Forum only matter, it's past time to involve the police.

This came straight from paypal but does it mean paypal is paying for the money to be recieved or is it going to try and take it out of his account?

PayPal requests more information from the seller to resolve the issue. If the seller doesn't respond within 10 days, we close the case and restore funds to the rightful owner.
