Ok,I have some updates.

I called him today also.He says he sold his computer to one of the workers he let go from his business.He claims to not be very computer savvy and didnt know that the new owner could get his passwords.He also apologized and says he will do everything he can to fix this.
Basically the same thing he told you,blair.

He told me has no computer access,so the few replies we got were from the "other guy",not him.He had no clue about this thread and didnt know we had pics of him and his Family up on here.He was not real happy about that.In fact he asked if I would help get them removed if possible.He says he will provide anyone his address,which is the business address also,as well as any other info to show he is gonna try to take care of this somehow.He even mentioned selling off some tools and other items to help pay everyone back if he cant get to the bottom of whats going on.
He also called me again about an hour ago.He was driving to an area with no cell service,and wanted me to post that up in case anyone else was gonna call.He doesnt want anyone to think he is trying to hide.I think there is a computer where he was going,so he could see whats up with Paypal.

Maybe its all BS,but I felt better after talking to him,and he welcomed anyone else to call so he can get the details of exactly how many people got scammed to match up the names/payments.
He is supposed to call me back tomorrow when he has cell signal again(and you too,Blair) to give me an update.
I told him I am on here every day so if he keeps me posted on this,I can help keep everyone up to date.
I didnt pay with a credit card so I am trying to keep a positive attitude,so maybe I will get my money back eventually.
I honestly find it hard to believe that idf he did scam us,he would never answer his phone ever again after Blair called him.Apparently Blair got a little excited...LOL.with good reason,for sure.
We just gotta wait and see what happens next.

I didnt say much to him, he did most of the talking but I told him straight up front that he "had a big problem on his hands". Like you said, he sounded convincing that he wasn't trying to screw anyone over, said he would track where the money was going to (which bank account or whatever the money was being pulled to) and then get the police involved. I am optimistic at this point about the whole situation, but I would really like to have my money back sooner than later I too paid with my bank account. Good idea on the using a credit card to take care of everything paypal related.

Why did 3 people pay for the same cams? His excuses haven't explained this.

supposedly its someone else using his account.he put the cams up real cheap and got 3 people to pay.

Hope he is not just blowing smoke.
