"#1) I only sell things that I have on hand, or that my machinist and I have been able to design or test fit. I don't believe in external funded development/group buys"

I've watched alot of people lose money through group buys through the years, it sucks.

I dont even know of you or your reputation on this forum but you just gained a large amount of respect from me from this statement alone sir!

Too easy for a fabricator/vendor to sit on his ass when he already has a pocket full of the end users cash and no product on hand....

The rest of your statement was well written and very encouraging to potential buyers as well.

I'm curious about your products as well...Lol, you could have just earned yourself some business by posting that in this thread, though I don't think that was your goal.

I appreciate the kind words guys. I was reading through the "A New Way Of Doing Business" thread in the vendor's forum. He called out people, and said they should try it if they wanted to complain.

I just wanted to get it out there that other folks are successful at juggling all the different demands that being a vendor on car forums entails. Yes, it's hard, but if you're devoted to doing the right thing and making the best possible products, then its something that can be dealt with.

Wasn't my intent to try and drum up business, but I did want to say my piece in a respectful manner. Maybe it will inspire this vendor to change the way they do business, and maybe it will inspire another member of this community to become a vendor themselves. I just said what I felt needed to be said, with a perspective from someone who is in the same position (online sales of fabricated items for cars with slack aftermarket support) as these guys.

You deserve the kind words from your thoughtful and well written posts alone.

I know you are being kind, restrained and tactful with that statement sir.

However I can say unequivocably that's a firm negative Ghost Rider. No way, no how.

Mark is an amoral, egocentric, improperly socialized, cowardly, devious, theiving little prick. He's rotton from the inside out, a scumbag through and through.

F*ck him to the Ninth Circle of Hades.

That is entirely possible.

I'll have to check for sure when I get there.

Kimme and I flew to Orlando today to pick up my red B14. It has been at OEM for several months, it was there to have a set of control arms fitted and to have an exhaust put on. Mark also wanted to use it for parts fitment on some grills and the carbon fiber lip. We took a cab to Overkill where I foolishly expected to find my car showing OEM's proof that they knew what they were doing. I would have posted pics and given them the credit they deserved for a job well done.

I let Kimme drive it around the block first as I listen and watch. I can see the exhaust isn't centered in the opening in the bumper and that it sounds a little louder than I expected. While she drove around the block, I tried to start a conversation with Bryan and Mark. But the situation is awkward at best and Bryan says nothing at all, not even hello. I ask Mark for the replacement cap for the puke tank that blew my motor once, and if not for the guys at the convention, would have popped it a second time. Probably lead to the bearing failure I have had since the convention. He tells me all I have to do is drill out the center of the cap and then it will be alright, it would be "just like a vent". When Kimme comes back I take the car for a quick spin, hear a small exhaust leak and a bunch more buzzing than I recall, but it feels safe. I pop the hood, am disappointed with what I see, but everything again looks safe and I want to hit the road. Pics to come tomorrow.

Before leaving I remind him to send the Exhaulta headlights back to the guy who loaned them for test fitment. He said that he still had them and would be sure to ship them back to their rightful owner.

We leave and the first thing Kimme says to me in the car (after hearing less than a minute of my and Mark's conversation) was that they were acting "really sketchy" towards me, something they had never done before.

We had a late lunch with tearoffguy. If you need tinting done on your ride, Larry is your man. On the trip home I can feel the exhaust rubbing on the crossmember or maybe the tunnel. I'll get it up in the air in the some time tomorrow to see what I can do about the leaking and bumping, and see if I can get it to pass emissions.

And of course I will be posting pics of the work.
