This guy has not been active for almost a month on this site.

He sent me some parts and some extras that I did not ask for and I even offered to return them.

He did not send one part, which was the sway bar bushing and clamp and two bolts for a driver's side 200SX.

He sent me the sway bar connecter to the control arm. I offered to send back this part and the others that I did not ask for and he declined that and claimed he would send me the part I asked for in the thread and many times via PM.

Be wary, he is a little fucking liar in my book until something changes.

He did not steal from me but he is a liar, so fuck him.

More and more often whenever I see people with a join date that is a few months ago, I highly doubt I trust them or listen to them. The longer you have been here, typically, the more trustworthy you are. That is just how this community is. Self-preservation at its finest.

Seriously, something has to be done about members joining just to sell items. Don't think it'll end either if it keeps going at this rate.

Kyle, I have been following that line of thought for a while. I only do business with folks that have been on our forum(s) for a very long time. That may suck for the newbies, but they are the ones with something to prove. The longer you have been here, and are active, the more confidence I have in doing business with you via long-distance. Common sense or bias, it is what it is.

I would support a post count or time-frame metric to deter this kind of naked opportunism at the expense of real members. That sucks man because sway bar hardware is kind of a bitch to replace.

Generally new guys have to meet me up in person or demonstrate a long history somewhere else. The last big risk I took was my turbo kit from a guy with a good history on g20.net and it worked out but he had a few heads vouching for him.

I agree with this. Why don't we do this?

So we continue to allow masses of young scammers come on and dip out because an old guy might show up with a genuine VET or N1 engine? I don't agree.

Older people tend to join and lurk. They also have the patience to do things the right way.

Kyle works very hard on his car and in participating here. I hate to see good members get burned. We all do.
