So I send it back to you guys, you guys either decide it fits or not, then I'm informed of possible outrageous fees that I can't do anything about. I can probably make out better if I sell it.

I'm not saying you are unethical Mark, but I can't expect this to end well for me since at this point I'll be at your mercy and I have no way of verifying your claims if it does fit your jig or not; especially since this thread did not sit well with you guys.

I'd love to see pictures of this same exact catback on a 2000 P11 and it fits right. Please have these customers email me pictures if they are willing to contact me. I simply cannot believe that my car is the issue here looking at how off this exhaust is. It's not slightly off or just off, it's REALLY off and doesn't even tunnel correctly over the axle and the muffler portion's 3rd hanger barely makes any contact with the rubber hanger.

I have not yet tried the new midpipe you sent me. I will be doing this on the weekend. Maybe all this is unnecessary at this point but I'm still shocked that you will not accept this piece back w/o fees.

Yes, it was and I retracted it. This was in reply to being told that I will no longer be supported and am a "cry baby" by your business partner. Not the reply I was expecting. I will apologize.

you're a moron and stop posting. Go re-read my posts if it doesn't make sense to you. I did not state anything about no restocking fees on a CAI. I'm just unwilling to use their parts anymore after my experience. My finances are none of your business.

They do not mention that any tweaking would be required whatsoever. I asked how it's made, and about corrosion protection on the welds, about fitment, about if clamps will be needed, and about what parts have flanges, etc, etc. It was about 2-3 weeks worth of emails before I purchased it. If they said it will require tweaking, I would of never bought it.

When we get it back it will be tested in two process to check fitment. If you do not trust us yet, even after we sent you a new midpipe without question then this is your call. YOu are assuming that we will screw you, and if you think that then maybe you should just sell it else where. I have never screwed anyone out of there money or product, I have to sleep at night ya know? There are plenty of board members that can aid in the fact of it fitting or not fitting, so you should have have any worries.

I have had only one other issue with a product and it cost me about 3500$ to fix. It was a batch of mounts that were made of the wrong material. I took the hit and replaced about 12 sets.

Its your call now, just want everyone to know we are doing what we can to help you after all this is said and done. I do not want to look frowned upon over a silly exhaust system not fitting. Our goal here is to make parts for you guys, if something does not work then we fix it.

I can not post anymore on this topic today as it has eaten all of my morning up and now its lunchtime. If you have further questions or comments our number is there on the site or a PM or e-mail works as well.

Thanks for your time everyone

So you're telling us you have taken a massive hit, yet you wont take back an exhaust and take a hit for >500$? There's no need for you guys to verify that it does not fit in a jig. It's simple, it dosnt fit on his car. If I were fuelcutoff at this point I wouldnt want to bother making it fit and would just want my cash back and you guys will charge him 30% plus shipping to return a non fitting part? Really? I have a feeling that this is going to put a sizable dent in your reputation.

I'll be shipping it all back to you guys this weekend.

30% hit on CAI I'll gladly take. I'm still shaky on the catback fees, but I don't want it at this point. I don't want any reminders of this experience at all.

I really hope that I get all my cash back for it. If not, then it's your call on how bad a hit your rep will take for doing this. I'll sacrifice 30% of my money. I'll send it to the shipping address the new midpipe came from. I'm not even going to talk about the shipping fees which will be another $50-75 out of my pocket.

Thanks for your "support".

He's not answering this question and probably for good reason.

It's obvious that OEM is trying to straighten this out so why doesn't everyone back off until they come to some sort of conclusion? Trying to help the customer make the part fit instead of giving an instant refund is the right way to go about this in my opinion.

I was thinking the same exact thing. I've ordered multiple exhausts, had to modify them both. That is the aftermarket industry unfortunately. If it is not OE then expect faults. Even products from places like Bennett and Discount and Auto Zone, you have to make modifications to some parts because they just don't fit correctly. It is the nature of the trade.

I just hope things get fixed in due time. I have heard good things about OEM so I wanted to follow this. Good luck gentlemen.

Its past the time line for the intake, We will do the return on the exhaust but the intake has been over 2 months and can not accept a return on this. As stated on the site, here is what is on the site.

For in stock items there is a 20 day return policy with a 30% restocking fee and the buyer is responsible for shipping both in the purchase and the return of the item.
