I have and multiple times on a variety of cars. I would not ever expect an fitment issues on a bolt on exhausts. In fact, this one came with clamps which I presume is to handle the tweaking required.

I'd also appreciate it greatly if you would also return the CAI I purchased along with the catback. I understand you don't have to and this was not a point of concern. I did not try to install it and will not be installing it but I can only assume that it may also have issues. Dealing with the catback gave me a sour taste so I'm not inclined to repeat this process for the intake and scuff it up if it doesn't fit.

Also, I do have to say this. I honestly tried to support you guys especially being a small shop and I'm not some deranged customer with unrealistic expectations. I am anal about parts fitting right though. I'm sorry for these troubles, but I felt like it was my only available action considering the circumstances and that my car is still sitting idle going up to 5 weeks now this week. I did feel that I was not being properly communicated with and I had to continuously initiate contact to get replies. It was my expectation (fair or not based on opinion) that a customer who paid for parts that didn't fit should get immediate help or at least get some form of compensation or a full refund.

If the system does fit in our jig then no you will be charged the 30% fee. If not then no you will be refunded 100%. It wont be an overnight thing we will install the same system on a test car and in the jig to make sure it was made incorrectly before refund your

Not sure if you have been reading my post, but I have been helping you out 100% the whole time and you bash my company and are rude about the whole process. What you have done is done, and can not be taken back but I like to let others know that we did not run away from this infact I was on the phone with FuelCutOff helping him out as he was typing the post.

You were responded to less than 2hr later in most e-mails, other than the one when I told you the new midpipe was being made.

Exactly, and why we are and have been trying to see what is wrong, not running away

Jigs do slip, systems get miswelded. Our whole goal here was to fix the problem not cause a fire.

This is uncalled for.

Ok now this sounds a bit sketchy to me. Now you want to return a CAI you have in your possession but haven't fit (5 minuets tops) - Something doesn't add up on that one, I understand you're mad but you paid for it, and haven't tried it, and now you want a refund on that too? the CAI wasn't part of the equation EVER up until now, why is it making its way in at this point?

regardless of your jig, if it doesn't fit my car as the pictures indicate, why would I still be charged a restocking fee? What if your jig is wrong to begin with and the pipe does fit on your jig? Fact is, it doesn't fit the intended vehicle. I can also assure you my car has not been in any accidents and the only issue that could cause this bad of a lineup is frame damage and my car has none whatsoever and I'm willing to provide pics of my underbody throughout.

Also, in regards to your other posts. I was never rude to you guys. You were rude to me and I think you know what I'm talking about. Granted you did apologize and I thank you for it, but I was very annoyed all weekend about it. You called me out as being impatient when I asked you for a status on the 2nd midpipe the week after you told me you'd ship it. That irked the heck out of me especially since I've been waiting for close to 3 weeks at that point with my car on jackstands. Then I'm told that you will accept a refund but only for a huge restocking and shipping fees which also did not sit well with me and that's when I posted. I even emailed you and told you I'd be posting this, so I didn't blindside anyone and you were given fair warning that I would go public.

I also emailed you guys before buying and asked many questions. I hope you remember this. I did everything right on my end to make sure I was getting a good part and you guys seemed good beforehand. I was excited when I got the part. It looked well made and the welds were nice, but the fit was way off.

I'm honestly done with this. It's become a huge headache. I never intended to hurt your business and I never intended to have this huge debacle. I just wanted a refund since i was done dealing with this exhaust. I would have much rather you paid me to take it to a shop here to fix it but you never made that recommendation. You just posted that on here, but you never told me you'd do that.

As this point, I hope you're willing to accept this back and not charge me any fees.

I can only assume he didn't use his real name for his forum name because he wanted to keep it private. It's not up to a business to decide the legitimacy of that wish. In fact, there are privacy laws against it.

Rest assured if you tell me anything personal during the course of a transaction (your e-mail address, your name, your bank account number, etc.) it will stay between me and you only. Can we assume the same can't be said on your end since you have such a nonchalant attitude towards privacy?
