^agreed. That is why I requested the OP to pm the OEM boys and get them in on this thread. Maybe make a public apology and tell the community they are working to resolve this issue? I would hate to see something like this totally tarnish their record.

I've been in contact with them about this and I did tell him I'd be posting. If he cares enough about his rep (which I don't think he does), then he'd try a bit harder to please the customer. I went public after 4 weeks of delays and poor support and my car being idle.

He is trying to "fix" the problem, but he refuses to give me a refund on this catback even though it's in the shape it's in without charging me outrageous restocking fees of over 30% AND shipping costs. That I cannot respect even if this eventually does get resolved. At this point, the only resolution that would make me (the customer) happy is a refund but I'll take what I can get at this point. That alone should prevent anyone from doing business with him again. If a part doesn't fit like you say it does, then the customer is entitled to a refund. Not that hard of a concept and not out of the question to expect this. Every respectable shop I've dealt with will do this in a heartbeat.

Also, I think they've had a bad rep for a minute now but no one really has said anything. There are multiple ppl on g20.net that came out to post on my thread about the lousy service and parts they got from Mark. I'm not the first, or the last, but the only one who went public.

HAH!

The funny thing that I do not understand was mentioned previously.

How does Overkill update there threads selling products when this thread has been on the top the past two days. For 48 hours basically, this thread has been on top. It is literally two sections down from Overkill's section on here and how he cannot see that, is pretty funny.

i've orederd 2 exhaust systems from overkill, one fit like a glove (the one on my car) but i did have to cut some pipe off cause i ran a larger muffler then what they normally use..

had the exhaust for well over a year now an still looks / sounds good! bit dirty tho cause my work parking lot is gravel lol

the other one fit pretty well also but we did have to cut an inch or two of pipe off to fit the muffler kinda like on mine, not really a big deal tho..

no offense but it seems like your griping over something that could VERY easily be fixed..

i will not hesitate to buy my 3" exhaust from overkill when i get the cash..

Hahah... Yeah right.. Public apology from those guys? I wrote a well thought out post offering them help with PR stating that I appreciated their efforts and quality work... I went on an on in an attempt not to defend them, I was throwing them a bone... There were posts on it fo about a week or so, they saw it and deleted it.

I have never had clear communications with them. If I ever need a part of theirs it will be used from a forum member I trust.

Weird man. I know 1 very prominent member uses them constantly for various work so I am obviously getting mixed feelings from both sides of the fence....

Thats weird because they have been great with me and respond for me same day. Very nice to me and answer all my questions. Only once have they deleted any of my posts and Mark wrote me a PM making sure it was ok.

Okay so I thought you guys knew this, but Overkill gets there exhausts from Mandrel exhaust systems. If you look at the p10 kit on Mandrelexhaustsystems.com and then look at the p10 kit on Overkills website they even use the same picture.

Mandrelexhausts kit: 91-96 INFINITI G20 EXHAUST - BOLT ON - (ALUMINIZED-2.5 IN)

Overkills kit: 91-02 G20 Mandrel Bent Exhaust

There's nothing wrong with that I guess but overkill charges about $50 more for there kit w/magnaflow muffler. Correct me if im wrong.....
