i took the spot on a GB of someone who pulled out, and peoples shit was shipping, and mine was not. Then I finally get it, and it was like that. I made a thread, or maybe it was in the original GB thread. Either way mine was not the only one that was like that, it was most people. It looked like they made them in the basement with a dremel tool. Needless to say its still sitting in the garage, and never made it on my car.

Just a few mistakes?

http://www.sr20-forum.com/suspension/36862-so-looks-very-wrong.html

Impatient? How long exactly should PhorB13 wait for corrective action on the part of a vendor?

I had a reasonably good, not even close to perfect, experience with O.E.M. and my exhaust. Further, my puke tank is working just fine. Better than the prototype tank that they built for Happynole which caused his engine to blow up because of a shitty and poorly engineered first design.

Google is my friend. Some of these may have been posted already in the other OEM thread. Or maybe this one. But here's a history of O.E.M.'s terrific record with other forums. From which he has been banned in the past. Seems we're not the only forum that he has left on very bad terms.

Ouch.
OEM rear drums to disc conversion kit (PROBLEMS) - Cobalt SS Network

Wow. Nothing like custom brakes making you feel confident.

Awesomeness-ness. Impeccable Customer Service.
3100 COLD AIR INTAKES

Lovely. Mark has been scamming for so long that you have to imagine the pictures, but the comments are pretty telling. Especially by the Moderator at the end.
60mm OEM "money back?"

I *guess* if this thread should be locked, then Cliff or Happynole could do so. Then again Joe may want this thread kept open till he finds out if his O.E.M. control arms are going to kill someone?

Of course, Joe (Happynole) just posted two (2) days ago with his header issues (3 out of eight header bolts missing), header wrap installed with plastic zip-ties, and serious questions about the safety of the lower control arms from O.E.M. that in many very savvy individuals opinions may very well fail on a track at 100 mph. Of course Mike Kojima used a link that is 1/8" thicker than O.E.M.'s "design" on the same part. But Mike K is probably not as sharp as the geniuses at O.E.M.

Being that it has only been 48-hours since Joe's current concerns came up, and 3-hours since sr20ve-t posted his concerns, calling for this thread to be closed, seems quite premature. It is readily apparent that not everyone has voiced their opinions and greivances.

Have a nice read gentlemen.

There's a new thread at ION:

I'm debating how much I need to get involved...

We need one thread on this forum that links to all the issues OEM has had over here and all the bad customer support issues. That way you can link to it on other forums and simply say "buyer beware" and call it a day.

You sir are a very nice guy, tactful, reasonable, prudent and civilized. You probably think carefully before you act.

On the other hand, I possess non of those qualities, and am usually in-motion before I give it a second thought.

you guys need to directly link all those threads from cobalt and escort forums instead of just linking our forum. good work getting out there. I think just warning them is enough though. After that if they hump up another pile of scratch on that other forum I just hope they do them better than they did us.

Those are all direct links in my first post over there. I thought.

Correct me if I am wrong. They do not link back here, they link to whatever forum I originally found them on.

I'm done. Best of luck to them. They got the heads-up. Loud and clear.

I even reported myself via the report button to their Staff. Pretty hard to miss my post.

Yeah I applaud the effort but i saw a lot of links to the dash and maybe I didnt read it all but whatever its prett clear what happened.

I mean he even found time to screw the old pontiac coupe forums. He's a known quantity and if they want to him more power you know?

edit; He's probably fucked up the oldsmobile/chevy celebrity forums too.

edit 2; And I bought a lot of their really early stuff and supported them too. In fact lynch420 has one of their original maf adapters (from me) on his vvl B13

I'm even on my best behavior over there. It is taking a considerable amount of effort on my part. Seems like they want to take shots at the messenger. The story of my life.

I am having an interesting discussion via PM with one of their members. Not sure he's too happy to have met me.
