Thread: who brought a manifold from CTP?

So I brought a custom log manifold from CTP back in March from the sr20forums, big mistake. 1) He told me it will be 2-3days shipping which took a little less then a two weeks to get. 2) When installing the manifold ran into a few issues like turbo sitting on the cross member and the hood would not shut. I had slightly modify the cross member and cut the hood frame which the turbo sits really close to the hood now which allows the hood to get really hot, this will cause the paint to peel later. I was told that I would have no problem and that it would fit right *yea right*. 3) After installing it the car had a really bad exhaust leak and what do you know the manifold was warped. So this week I have to take my car back to the shop. Now i have to pay for labor AGAIN, buy new exhaust gasket and plus machine shop work. So this cause a lot more then what I expected!!! So I messaged him telling him whats going on and he tells me what can he do to make it better on my end and I told him pay for half the labor. After that he made nothing but excuses telling me the bolts weren't tighten and that it was not install right (No bitch you just sold me a sh*tty manifold!).

What really pisses me off is that he told me it had a "lifetime warranty" and that he made it at his shop. He did not even bother to exchange it or offer to repair it. And now he's telling me that some guy made it and it cost well over $200 to make it..... I am just sick of all these low life fu*kers out there that's willing to screw someone over for a few $$$. At this point im not going to deal with him, ill just pay for everything and advise EVERYONE not to buy from him.

look him up....im sure everyone seen him in the turbo for sale section a month ago he use to bump up his thread 50billion times a days, look him up

He was on G20.net and the other sr20forum aswell. Seems to have vanished as soon as people bought his stuff and had issues. I hope the IP is being monitored so a new screen name and items don't pop up for sale.

i think he meant rad support... i do not know though

yes the radiator support, its only a gt30 lol but thats how high the flange for the manifold was sitting

i wish the people who bought the manifold can do something about this guy
