^^ Whoaaa that's not true buddy. Who says it has to break? This is why you do it right the first time. So long as there is no short cuts. You should not see bad results.

you obviously havent seen high hp cars. They run great for a while than they break look at our trans for example. Honda trans are the same when they get into high hp. You can use the most expensive parts and still break something its the way it goes with big power cars.

I did not want to get into who is right and who is wrong but this is what I see from following this thread. I wouldn't touch a straight up de to de swap for less than $600(labor), a VE for at least $1000 (labor) and if you are talking turbo ve $1500-2000 in just labor. It does take a couple hours to actually swap the engine but it is more than that. To get everything cleaned up enough to actually put my name on it and stand behind my work, it takes time. It also takes money for to keep a shop operating with electricity, insurance, etc etc. From the business end of things, the business practices from JMR are horrible. I run a high end shop and even if the customer insisted to run that manifold, I would print out a huge disclaimer on the receipt (which none seem to be produced) that it was pointed out to the customer and the customer is now responsible if anything happens. I may even tell them to pay me for what I have done and remove the vehicle from my property. Jason doesn't seem like that kind of customer to me. He is not afraid to spend money, just wants to have a fast car and doesn't have the knowledge to build one. I see Jun at fault on this one. He just took advantage of an uneducated kid with money. For people saying that is how it is in New York, that is a B.S. excuse. Business is business no matter where you are. I understand the costs of running a business. All you have to do is pass it along to the customer and inform them of why and your warranty procedures on the work order before the work is performed and then after the work is performed on the repair order. Jason I am glad you are being taken care of it seems. Ed seems like a good guy, but it is also easy to point the finger at the last person who worked on the car. In this situation, it seems like he is right, there is no way that Jason or his friends did most of the things I found wrong with this build or destruction for that matter. It is obvious JMR only cares about the money. There is no regard for their reputation from what I can tell. I understand staying out of the bs but this is far beyond that. If Jun had a leg to stand on, he would at least make a half assed attempt to try and explain some of the things that were found and shown in this thread. This "I am better than everyone" and how dare this kid question the all mighty JUN attitude is paper thin. Your insecure, I am too good and know too much to address this issue attitude sucks and is very immature. I give this third, half ass attempt at you running a performance shop one more year at the most. I can tell by your lack of information in previous posts that you do not turn wrenches or tune anything. You are more like a figure head it seems, LOL. I never intended to involve myself in this thread if Jun just disappeared from this forum, but it seems as if Jun has started to post again and ignore this thread. Jun, you give honest and well run shops a bad reputation. It is because of shops like you I must fight an uphill battle everyday with most new customers. I challenge you to defend yourself, even if you feel you are better than that. That is right...... I am calling you out Jun, mister sr20 god Stop hiding like a coward and tell your side. If he can't reply to this thread, I vote ban from the forum.

Junior is posting on the forum. Ignoring this thread like it will go away and be forgotten. Too superior, smug, and regal to deal with the very real issues presented by three (3) separate forum members.

Junior can do what he likes. Including go to the next Convention. I won't even bother him, after cooling off, there is no real need to do so. He's not worth my time, nor worthy of my association.

However, I would also stipulate that reigniting my anger in person, in any way, shape, or form would be an incredibly stupid and very dangerous thing to do. Take note, on this issue I have no fuse whatsoever, one little spark will start a conflagration.

Junior is anything but a "true business man." He's a sham, a trickster, smooth talk and dishonesty in shoes.

Any "true businessman" would have produced itemized receipts that he printed out from his computer. Which would have stopped this entire thread in it's tracks. The OP does three (3) motor swaps at JMR and Junior has zero receipts? I can get receipts right now, today, from my Attorney, Veterinarian, Body Shop, Mechanic, Family Doctor, GregV (my parts supplier) and my damn Dry Cleaners on any transactions I have done with any of them over the last couple of years.

Nor has Junior addressed FuLLah or Happynole.

Awesome business practices. F*cking fantastic. "True business man" my ass.

Very, very well stated and summarized. You hit every single point dead nuts accurately.
