OK, ANY UPDATES? I wanted my doorhandles in clearcoated chrome. Powdercoated chrome. The most reflective you can do.

he visited the forum yesterday...i sent him an email to see if my compressor housing had shipped.....no reply yet

I'm really getting to the end of my rope with him. About to that point where i'm gonna just drive up and get it back. It's about 2hrs each way though...and i really shouldn't have to do that just to get my **** back.

My experience with LNC
I decided to get my compressor housing powder coated by late night custom. I sent it to him 12/8 and he had it for around a month. I had him coating it a custom color to match my car. When i got it it was covered with cracks in the clear coat, as seen in these pics.

so after about a week, i sent it back to have him redo it. Hoping that it wouldn't take another month, since it was messed up the first time...I was wrong. He emailed me letting me know it cracked again on the second try. So he asked me if I wanted to do a chrome powder, which was what i had originally wanted, but he talked me into the color matched. I got it today (2/19) and it's definitely not a chrome color at all. It is definitely a silver powder...here are pics

maybe i just expected a lot more reflection, i don't know...i just think it basically looks about the same color as when i sent it out, just a bit smoother of texture.

All in all, I am unhappy with how things turned out. My VC was done by lnc too, and it was all good, great experience and all, but....

I am sorry to say that I will never use or recommend late night custom again

It took entirely too long, there were too many unanswered pm's and emails. My project had to sit on hold for months. At times i wondered if i would ever get my comp housing back.

Sorry this couldn't have worked out better

sorry to hear that man. I agree with your expectations, that color doesn't look chrome, just polished. I always had high regard for LNC, it's too bad his service fell off.

I have yet to get a response. At this point I would get my handles traditionally chrome plated.

Guys, it's really pissing me off that Jordan isn't getting in contact with any of you himself, but someone's gotta stand up.

budsang1 sorry it looked like that! I don't know what else to do really.

For the rest... I know things are rolling over there but I don't know what's happening. I ask him and he says he's working on it so I can only hope so.

Pretty White.... Don't know if your handles are coated yet, but I did prep them so they are ready to go.... did you still want your handles "chrome" or no? I can't say that it'll be as unshiny as (unfortunately) budsang1's.

this is all I know guys, my schedule hasn't let me venture out his way for a while....
