Jim Wolf is STILL the man!!
All I can say is that despite the occasional hiccups, Jim Wolf knows how to take care of his customers.
As some of you may know, I had a JWT clutch in my ve'd NX and it failed, spectacularly, the day before the convention. I spoke with Jim on the phone that night and sent him pictures. He sent me a shipping label the next day and I sent him a box with as many pieces as we could find from the explosion. Turns out after examination of the box of parts that the pp failed. Jim sent me a new flywheel and complete clutch kit to replace the failed parts, no further questions asked.
Well, about a month ago, my SE-R just stopped while I was rolling down the road. Once we pulled the tranny, it turns out the clutch disc had failed where the spline is rivited to the disc. Called Jim again and sent pics. He again asked for the failed parts and shipped at his cost. Once they had a chance to exam the parts, I got an email from Jim asking if I needed a new disc to replace the failed part. I replied that I had already put a new disc in as I needed the car back on the road. He asked what he could do to make it right for me. I told him I was in the market for a set of S3R's for my G20 and perhaps he could arrange a credit for the cost of the disc towards my purchasing the cams. Lo and behold, yesterday a package shows up at the house. It's a set of S3R cams with the invoice marked "no charge per Jim".
This type of customer service is one of the many reasons Jim Wolf is so highly regarded by a lot of the old schoolers on this forum.
