If you follow the link above it will describe what he had for sale. The day b4 coming to pickup the car he said he was keeping the motor. I agreed.
After getting the rental trailer and driving 250 miles up there this is what I get.
Basically a shell, NOT all the parts to put it back together.
No motor[agreed b4 hand],
a tranny w/no 1or 2nd [which I found out when I got home],
These parts I discovered missing when I looked the car over, he did not volunteer this info mind you
2 motor mounts,
Radiator and fans which then he said he was keeping
Axles, which he SAID were no good and he trashed.
Plus misc. hoses, etc.
Yes, I could have walked away, but after the money already spent, would you???
Last week when I let him know I was debating on doing this he said he had the mounts and fans and if I paid for shipping he would send them. When I asked how much to send, I have not heard back.
If it was the other way around, I would have made it right, right away, but then again thats just me......
I went up there in good faith and I did pay him the money he asked for.
What I got was way less than he advertised......

Sour grapes, maybe, just deeply disappointed in the whole deal

did he knock down the price when he decided to keep the motor?

Just to let you know he is at the convention, so he will not have access to a computer until Monday.

I would give him time to get back from the convention to respond. I haven't ever known him to rip anyone off. I'm sure he'd be willing to work with you. If you paid the full price expecting to get what was advertised, and he changed the deal, I'm sure that he'd be more then willing to work with you to make the deal amicable to both sides

LOL your a funny guy man. I let you know everything about the car when you came to pick it up and tried to tell you before hand. I even started explaining everything that came with and didnt come with the car and you cut me off as I was telling you all the stuff. THEN you asked me what my address was so that (from your words) you could figure out when you were coming up. You said you had promised to work the next day and that you would let me know about when you were coming. You then sent me a PM without even calling me that said you were coming the next day. Ovcoarse I didnt get on the forum until after you had already called me to tell me you were in raleigh. So then on top of that I go OUT of my way to meet you at my house when I was already in durham doing other stuff. You saw the car and I told you everything that was going on with it that I knew about.

Then on top of that...I already told you about the radiator. So you posted that why? I told you you can get the fans, both motor mounts and any other parts that are laying around even that I dont need. As for the tranny. I never drove it which i told you so how would I know what kind of condition its in. Where are you getting that 1st and second are bad though? The guy I bought it from said it was good. As for all the other stuff. I told you about all that. If you want it you can get it. But when you show up somewhere unannounced and its raining hard outside, then its normal to forget stuff.

We can work this out or you can cry about it. Honestly your just really starting to piss me off with this kid stuff though. Who makes a post like this without even talkng to the guy who he has a problem with first. BTW I didnt get a chance to respond to your pm because I was trying to get my stuff ready for the convention.

THEN on top of that. You rented a trailor for the car before we even talked. I was busy with training for my job and then all the sudden I get a random message from you saying "yo johnny ive got the trailor, give me a call back and let me know one way or the other". I cant even really type right now because im tipsy. But I had to respond to this after a forum member pointed this thread out. If you have a problem you know my number. Give me a call.

And then....how the hell did I not "voulunteer" the info if you saw the motor sitting right beside the car. I mean cmon. You saw the mounts sitting on the motor. All i did was forget to give them to you. What the hell am I going to do with some stock motor mounts lol. Also like I said...you are more then welcome to have the motor that came in the car. Te cams really did wear down in the motor somehow. But its yours if you want it like I already told you in a pm! Seriously just call me since you have my number. This posting up stuff if pretty crazy. Call me if your that disgruntled!

Forget about all this **** right now dude. I wanna know why the hell you not answering my calls or calling me back are you having that much fun?!?! I needed your help today with figuring out wiring up these injectors thanx a lot man!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you really want to get it somewhat straight, Plz pm vs the phone. Because this way there is A. a record of the conversation, B. there is no doubt what is or not said.
I stand by my above comments. If you were keeping the above parts, why did you not state that in the ad?? It says EVERYTHING to put it back together. You could have edited the ad at any time to reflect what you were keeping, but you did not.
I have a good command of the English language, so I know I relayed when I was coming up there. What you heard may be a different story.
The only thing you wanted to keep was the motor, and that was the ONLY thing that was discussed on the phone, spare me "I cut you off".
Once again, I stand by my previous comments. You didn't volunteer the info about what you were keeping. I asked when I looked into the engine bay.
If you found some missing pieces after I left, why did you not contact me??
It was only after letting you know that I was leaving feedback that you said that you found some of the parts.

yeah tauriq has never screwed anyone over im sure you two can get this worked out but i will add one comment on the whole thing.

That car you picked up MrMagoo is freakin clean as hell. Again did he offer you any discount cuz either way whether he did or didnt that shell in that perfect of shape is well worth the 800 with no motor in it at all, Hell no motor no trans no radiator and other small things like motor mounts. I would have picked that nx up in a hearbeat cash in hand had i lived in NC. Conisder yourself lucky to have found such a nice nx cuz im sure there were a bunch of people that wished they could have picked up that gem.

Either way yeah he maybe didnt stick directly to his ad but again im sure he was rushed by you by the sound of it. So he had to work and then get everything ready, i dont see the problem with what you got, its all minor stuff indeed. Throw a motor in it with new stuff and freshen that car up and make it a hell of a daily. Super clean.

The feedback thing doesnt bother me. Thats how you feel about the transaction. Everyone is entitled to there own opinion. What does bother me is the fact that you are posting up like you got got or something. I could understand if this was something that was shipped to you. But this is something you picked up and paid cash for lol. I mean are you serious here? Everything that you gave me the cash for is what you got. YOU yourself looked at the car and all the parts that came with it. YOU popped the hood of the car and looked around. Hell I actually even tried to show you the back panels and how there was no rust but you didnt even seem interested. It seems to me like your mad at yourself because you didnt take the time to look the car over or even listen to me when I was trying to tell you stuff.

You had all the time in the world to check it out. I even tried to show you everyp part of the car. I honestly regret even selling the car to you now after being at the convention. But its over and done with. Do you know how many trips ive taken all up and down the east coast looking at B13's just to be disapointed in what I saw and have to chalk the lost gas, food, and hotel money up to just being part of the "finding a B13 in the condition I want game"??? Seriously. I could understand if you said something like I sold you a car with major body damage and didnt tell you anything about it. But thats not the case. Your upset because you feel like you didnt get what you paid for when you really did because YOU looked at the thing before buying it.

And as for me not contacting you about these "missing" parts. I had no idea they were even there until you pointed it out. The motor is sitting outside uncoverd. Obviously I rarely look at it. Like I said...what exactly would I do with a set of two stock motor mounts (the dogbone being worthless to me and the passenger side one being worthless to me also because theyd be a downgrade). The car I sold you is a shell. I could understand if it was a running car. But it wasnt. There are going to be some parts. To address teh last thing that erks me. Why didnt I change the thread to reflect that some parts that were listed werent coming with it? Probably the same reason I put my phone number in that very same fs thread. Im not on here everyday and Im not thinking about every thread ive ever posted up and need to edit. The thing that aggrivates me about this thread most is that your not trying to get the problem solved. YOu just basically wanted to post up how untruthful you felt I was. If that was the case though then why did you even give me the cash. You couldve just backed out instead of rushing to get the car on the trailor like you did and then paying me. Hell you couldve even tried to bargain the price down if you thought you were being had at $800 for what you got and I wouldve understood. I wouldnt have lowerd the price any. But I wouldve understood if you didnt wanna buy also. Please go find another 1993 Saphire blue, Rust free, pretty good paint, perfect spoilered shell (aka no motor OR tranny) with 108k miles on it for $800! The parts that we talked about are sitting here still and like I said you can have them. Im done here though. You can call me.
