Thread: Weekend R&R 2015

Haven't done a post like this on the dash, but it was almost an annual event on the other forum. So here's a brief update:
- new to me GTi-R OEM turbo from Lynx
- new Vibrant intercooler with custom WeirTech endtanks
- BBK from FastBrakes. Wilwood Superlite 4 piston calipers, 11.75 two piece rotors
- then some maintenance items.
The car has been parked for too long, so looking forward to next season.

Oh yes, I tracked down a used Nismo LSD and have it installed in a B15 transmission.

So many new toys in the Egg! I bet you can't wait to get it out on the track. Any chance you'll have a video camera along for the ride?

Hey Chris. Come to Ontario next spring and we'll head out to Mosport! I'm quite eager to see how the car does and am anticipating some great times. I will get some video - unfortunately unless I can borrow someone's GoPro it'll be old school technology which will be poor quality, but it'll give an idea. It has been torture to have the Nismo LSD yet not be able to get the car out on track. Life has just been too hectic this summer/fall, but that's another story! But soon I'll get the B15 tranny installed and next spring isn't too far away.

So, who else has some Weekend R&R going on with their Canadian SR?

I have every friday all summer , got out a few times in the b15 race car and thanks giving weekend in the gtir at the new ddt track , if i posted all the work i do on these sr cars every friday people would think i'm nutts
