Hey Calum,

After getting to actully drive the car around some tonight and test out the new bin, I still don't know if the bin is right. She runs alittle to a lot lean while crusing, and she acts very funny when you let off the gas from WOT, or anything above 50% throttle, and then give her alittle gas again. She starts to buck and runs at 17-18 AFR.

Is there any way to get the bin off my MINES ECU? I have no problem 2nd daying it to you if you can pull off exactlly what was on my MINES so we can use that bin.

Stock gtir maf and stock 440 injectors at 3bar, right?

I was running the MINES with 444s at 4 bar and z32 maf. The MAF was aracounted for by the SAFC. I will try the new B13 if you like, the old one didn't like things at all. Lean as hell idle and bumpy as hell.

I think running at 4 bar with the MINES sort of counteracted the fact the are tuned for 100 RON from what I understand. Because I only hace to use the SAFC for a slight idle adjust and a small band adjustment from 3-4k rpms at 50% throttle. Other then that she worked like a champ.

EDIT: Oh, and was that a "sure" send me the ECU in the mean time so we can pull the bin? SOrry, just got out of surgery...

Yea, sorry, that was a 'sure, send me the MINE's ecu'.

If I send you a bin setup for the Z32 maf and 444 injectors can you zero out the s-afc settings and set the base FP to 3 bar? Lets see if we can get that to run then put it back to 4-bar.

Sounds good to me. Though I cant drive for the next few days. You get my email on the B13 Mines set up you sent me? Car didn't like it at all. I think we should stick with gtir setup.

If you get me a bin for a z32 maf i will turn the safc off and we can go from there if you ike.

And the MINES is ib the mail, you should get it friday at thr latest. Want me to paypal $10 for return shipping?

This should boogle your mind, does it matter what address I ues? I am running the b13 one, but i know the n14 has a sprate one. Should I switch over to that address?

I was playing around with Nistune and found that out.

Use the N14 for a gtir base, and the B13 for a B13 base.

I'll send you something else to test this afternoon.

I have to address files... how the hell do you attach bins & address to be downloaded on this site? Well, I don't really know which is diffrent, if at all, but one is labled:

N14_SR20DE_256_E_91_92.adr

and the other:

N14_SR20DE_256_E_93.adr

Which from the title means they are for the first to years, or '93... no clue what happened to '94. But I am unaware of any ECU changes in the R over any of that time. So for now, and I will email themto you to look at, I will use the first address file.

PS: And someone please tell me how to attach files on this forum so we can share stuff. Thanks!

EDIT: Do we have the XDF file for an RNN14? I forgot protune uses XDFs.

EDIT #2: Got in touch with Matt, learned that the S13 address is the same as the RNN14. I would imagine same goes for the XDF as well, wouldn't you say?
