Thread: How to Install Calumsult on a Win 98 Machine

I downloaded the installer zip file.

Setup.exe and install.msi both gave me a prompt that said i needed NT, win2000, or Win XP

I extracted data.cab to the folder i was working with. I clicked on Calumsult.exe but then I got another prompt.

Which was : Calumsult requires a version 7.1(or compatible) Labview Runtime Engine.

I tried searching for some info on installing calumsult on WIn 98 machines but I did not find anything. Can calumsult run on Win 98?

No. The LabView runtime will only work on 2000+.

However, I've been kicking around a new consult program written in .NET2.0 (and I'll post source code when I get to a point where you can actually use it for something).

Really though, just upgrade to XP. :P
