Calum, 95~98 ECU's have the same harness, just that the 97~98 ECU's aren't flashable. In other words, he said the 95 ECU will work.

Where Can I get the Calumsult software? I checked out calumsult.com but its still under construction. *Edit* I found where to download Calumsult. Answered myself.


So Calum is the ecu tuning/construction a full time business now or is it still a side thing for you? I know when all this first started it was more of an open source kinda vibe. Trying to get people to learn more and build there own units. I haven't really read up on the real time if there are any threads on how to build your own. I'm just curious really. I'm gonna have to get around to messing with my basic one of these days.

Oh and as for tuning I remember reading a couple of years back that you only built the hardware and people would have to develop their own tunes. Is that still the plan or are you getting into tuning now? I ask because there are all these different base programs out for different setups I'm just wondering where all these different programs came from. If they are developed by you or just from different people that have tuned their own cars.

Well danggummit, I went to buy it and someone just bought it for less than what I was going to pay for it. What are the odds. I've got a line on a 5MT ecu, so thats ok.

Btw, I did have a little development on the maxipad ecu front, and its something I need your help with on down the road. Nothing big, but if you could give me a call whenever you get back to the states I'd appreciate it.
