When you start the nistune you need to connect to the ecu with the consult button (forgive me It's been a little bit since I used Nistune with the calum realtime). Then just go to your fuel or ignition map and make a pull. The cells that get high lighted while your on the throttle are the ones you need to adjust. I would keep the timing low, 12deg max is what I would start with. The lower end of the map where your off boost you can run more timing but as it builds you will need to run less timing. Do you have a EGT gauge installed?

25 degrees is off throttle...

20 degrees is max at wot...

At his boost level it is fine.

Ok just keep an eye on your EGT's. I could never get away with something like that in Cali with our pee water 91 lol.

To tell you the truth, this is my daily and I am depending on it being reliable. So I would rather tune it slightly more conservative, even if it will lost a few HP. 5-10hp < $1500 new engine.

Any suggestions as far as this goes?

If you want to back off your timing some I can do that for you since I have your bin already just let me know.

I run 24deg timing up top at 16psi on 9.3:1 VE-T with no problems on 93 octane just for reference.

That would be cool. I did a couple more runs today. I'll post it up in a minute.

Also, I dropped the injectors to 190 and it was still pegged at 10 under load. i dropped it down bit by bit all the way to 175. It still stays under 10.3. but it already feels a lot stronger, but still not great. Any ideas?

Then i pulled my plugs. This is what they look like... isnt that a bit lean??

Plugs are going to be white due to part throttle and idle.

I normally see more black on the base indicating rich up top.

Also the mark on the porcelain on the one is curious, looks like could be cracked.

Very curious why you aren't seeing it lean up.

I'll replace that plug. I have 6 spares. But ya, I'm not sure why its not leaning out at all under load. Should I keep dropping the injector kvalue?
