so.... is it my understanding that the mod is done to the BIN file? because if it is so why dont you just post some of calums base bins with the mods so we can just retune our ecu's to suite?

Probably a handful of VE's make power up to 8500, and even less make power up to 9500 etc... so posting a VE base tune bin with whatever MAF (It wont be a problem changing the MAF settings in the BIN) and let us figure out the rest

btw my ecu is 23710-95N2I (no idea what its from)

It's a firmware change. I don't think it's in the *.bin file.

No, the expanded RPM tuning mod will be included, along with a number of other firmware enhancements, in a package that comes with a Calum RTV2 purchase. The package includes a modified bin file, TunerPro V5 XDF and ADX files, and documentation. The package supports the expanded IO capability of the RTV2 board, but does not depend on it, so will also be available to purchase separately for use with RTV1, basic daughter board, or any other programmable daughter board. If purchased separately, a credit towards an RTV2 purchase will be included. Calum and I are still working on the details.

The firmware, or program, that runs the engine is part of the bin file. The tables and constants modified to tune the engine are used by the firmware, and are also part of the bin file.

Glad to hear! Calum is hard for me to get up with also, so the details of the deal are not yet finalized. It also depends on the release of TunerPro RT V5, but I will keep everyone up to date on the developments.

Thanks,
Dave
