Thread: Hold on new orders

yeah he had sooo many people send ecu's all at once right after he really hit it off big once people got on the bandwagon of how cheap, affordable and great his service was. Yeah he had people after people sending ecu's in even after he said hold on new orders.

Again he just got too backed up. Not to mention he is still in works for bigger and better things so he has all this R&D going on as well. Trust me when he gets back in the swing of things once he gets all caught up people will forget this crap with just a handful of people ever happened. I know i dont hold it against him and never will . He goes above and beyond when you treat him with some respect and kindness. All he asked was you get ahold of him before sending an ecu and probably 75% of the people during that rush did not do that and just mailed their ecu's to him expecting to get them back without even as much as contacting him or posting.

I wouldnt want that either. Its not good business on the customers part either.

Sounds like free ECUs to me.

lol, haha free ecus plus some money for those that paypal'd him immediately, hahaha j/k He still did all he could to keep up and try and keep everyone happy but when you have that much stuff to do, its basicly impossible.

EXACTLY. People don't read the fine print when they buy something, so why should they actually e-mail him before sending him something?

People need to understand that this is a HOBBY. I'm sure he's rather burnt out from everyone asking him millions of questions about tuning and troubleshooting. If you don't know what you want, then ask the community, don't ask the source.

Well I think hes a great guy. Ive talked to him many times and he is overly helpful almost He should get some help but Im sure finding people that actually have the skills necessary is a problem.

He told me about some of the things he has planned for the near future and its very exciting, it just takes time. I honestly hope that he gets caught up and over this BS and is not dissuaded by the negativity.

Remember, he offers HARDWARE, not tunes.

finally - just got my ecu - 3 months and 5 days later

**** i waited almost 6 months to get a jim wolf ecu in the past

I know when I got my ecu done for the ve I got ahold of him before I sent it out I mean it took me alittle but I waited.

i spoke with him first and arranged everything payment and all before i sent it.. got it back within the month. sadly enough it didn't do its job.. what didnt it do? Maybe some people can help, start another thread please and I'm sure some people will help you out.
