I was bummed I wasn't going to be able to attend the sr20convention in ATL so decided to gather a few friends and help organize a very well attended Nissan meet.

It was a great turnout. For me, I got to see a few faces that I have not seen in 10 years as well as a few cars I have not seen since the late 90's as well. It was great to meet the current generation of SR20 nuts and the new guys (at least new to me) and "share the knowledge".

I think it would be great to do a get together like this 2 or 3 times a year. Our 97 had been sitting since November with a blown transmission. This get together was the motivation that we needed to get off our collective ass and get it running again. I would not have been able to get it done without my sister's help. Thanks sis.

Thou I ended up buying 2 RS5F70V transmissions, 2 flywheels and several sets of C/V shafts to get there, it was all worth it in the end. I know that my family truly enjoyed meting all of ya and we can't wait to do it again.

Hopefully next time we will have more than 2 cars that are worthy of bringing to share with y'all. Just need another date so I can set a deadline to get motivated some more.

Hmm... Now which car to work on next...

The BIG meet is in the works and seems like it will be an awesome one. There is plans for an END OF SUMMER meet too so stay tuned. The idea of the EOS meet is to get more people who attend involved and interact with each other. It should be pretty fun!
