Thread: $20 Thursdays at Irwindale Drag Strip *Weekly

Irwindale Drag Strip holds weekly drag racing events more commonly known as 'Thursday Night Thunder'. So every thursday from 4pm-10pm, for $20 you're allowed to race your car down their 1/8th mile strip. I'm planning to go more often and it would be nice to see more sr20-forum guys out there!
If I plan on going one of the thursdays, I will post on here. If you plan to go to Irwindale and race, post on here so I have an idea to how many people from the forum might come. We can meetup somewhere and roll to the track together. Pictures and videos are welcome.

From my experience, the tech guys weren't strict at all with my B14. The tech had my hood open for literally 5 seconds and cleared me to run in less than a minute. They are a lot stricter with the highly modified cars.

I am the self proclaimed irwindale sr20 fwd king. Anyone have a fwd Nissan that cares to challenge me at irwindale ?
