No more drag racing in SoCal....
So as my car is getting faster an faster, I'm wanting to find out what it will do 1/4 mile wise.
Problem is, Fontana strip has been closed by the courts for noise, and irwindale (only 1/8 mile) has went bankrupt.

So where the fuck are we suppose to race at!?!?!

Anyone have any idea?

Damn this sucks! The NHRA needs to step to the plate and help out the weekend racers. I know Irwindale shut down as well from what I heard. The Pomona Fairlex still has their strip but only runs a few races a year since the residents out there also sued them. The funny thing is the race track was there before most of those homes... these are sad times in street legal drag racing.

Barona has a nice 1/8th mile track.

Qualcomm staudiam is another option here in San Diego but track kinda sucks since its a parking lot converted....

irwindale will be opening back up soon since they closed due to toyota did not want to renew the contract not because they went bankrupt. Lucas oil & a few others are opening it back up but it will be named toyota speedway for 3-4 years more due to the name policy. As for fontana well they just need to build a real soundwall & it can be reopen asap. Lets see what happens..
