what exactly is wrong is with your motor?

Well I first thought the motor was knocking cuz when id turn it on and give it any type of gas it would make the sound like if I hade a bearing or rod fucked up so I hade it sitting for about a month it would also leak all my antifreeze and finally narrowed that down to the water pump so yesterday I filled the radiator up again before I started her to check one last time before I pulled the valve cover off to check what was up so I started her up and magically there was no knocking noise at all but I did notice some weird type of noise when I reached 3000 to 3200rpms so I pulled the cover off and nothing couldn't find anything at all but my cuzn did notice something with the timing chain and the noise was coming from that side of the motor so im pretty sure its the timing chain tenisnor or whatever its called

Also tried to drive it to my cuzn house down the road and it was all good then when I got pretty close I notice I was losing power after a while it shutdown on me got stuck on the side of the road,so I sat there for a bit then tried to turn it over again it would not start made the sound like if I hade a bad battery or bad alternator so I waited for a bit more then tried again it started up finally but now it was making a horrible grinding noise and hade no power what so ever lucky I was able to make it to my cuzn house

Well I'd say to change the timing tensioner, get a new Idle air control valve, get someone to time it right, possibly get a new throttle position sensor, reground your maf or get a new one while you're at it. try a new ecu of course do it one by one so you don't waste your time doing it all if it's only one thing, oh and I think what he meant by "muffler" is that maybe your muffler tip has something in it, or the exhaust is hitting the cross member, cause I've heard people play pranks with each other by putting a wrench in a persons muffler and it sounds like their knocking.
Also change the oil while you're at it

that weird noise you hear can possibly be misfiring, It's happening to me right now too, just the noise

Umm well I just poped the valve cover off right now and again I see nothing so im guessing its a rod cuz I checked the oil and I've got metal shaving but can't that be from the chain also?

possibly, but I doubt it, you probably do have a knock or something then
