Thread: Need help NOR CAL...SMOG

ive got a 1993 infiniti g20 and it needs to get smog tested normally it wouldent be a problem but ive got a cold air intake, and the shop didnt approve it ... heres the link eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

also my -EGR valves and pipes and stuff i dont have and are not connected to the motor.

under table smog is the way to go!!!

What parts do you have? You should be able to pick up a stock air box for cheap at a junkyard, it would take about 20 minutes to put back in. Then put the CAI back after you smog it.

Did you take the EGR stuff off it, or did you put a JDM engine in it?

idk where to get an "under the table" test. I've got a lowport SR20DE motor under the hood. The engine is from a '95 Nissan 200SX SE-R. I didnt personally do any of the work on this car but i know the EGR was taken off. But I'm having the original parts sent to me i just dont know how to put them on if anyone could help me I would greatly apreciate it

If you look around the site, I think there are instructions on how to block off the EGR, so I would imagine you would do the reverse of that. Go to a junkyard if you can or find someone local with that engine and study it closely to figure out what you have to do. I have a highport and I know the layouts are different so I don't know how to help you. Sorry. Putting in the stock airbox should be a piece of cake, however.
