At least $1,000 for the motor, seals, thermostat, and water pump. Depending on your clutch set-up, you'll need at least a Stage 1 clutch or a JWT/B15 disk combo, so that's another $350+. You'll also need an ECU tuned for the VE, so another $300 to $500, unless you can find someone that has a Calum Basic that's got a VE program already burned on it (I just sold mine for $160 shipped). Then you need a switching device for your cams, which run between $50 for a cheap Summit switch (I have one on my P10 and works well) or over $100 for the MSD one. There are other ones in between there. If you have the original fuel pump still, then I recommend upgrading that as well, which will run you $60 to $100 or so. I have a TRE 190Lph ($60) on my P10 and a Walbro 255Lph (about $100) on my B14....both do the job. Then you're looking at about $100 for an ebay header and maybe another $300 for a 2.5" exhaust which is a good match for the motor. You can run a stock exhaust manifold and exhaust but it really chokes the hell out of the VE. I'm know I'm probably forgetting some stuff. But that's the basics of what you're looking at.
