yeah rainbow canyon road is the road i finally found that goes by the golf course where i had to pick my dad up from, yeah there was a alot of traffic on pala on the way down i got stuck behind a stupid camry that had to go like 10mph around every turn, i let traffic pass and get way ahead on the way back up and had some fun. It was nice, i didnt go all the way down rainbow canyon road, i want to definetly hit those roads up again at night.
Stupid bike cop gave me a ticket after an hour searching for how to get to the golf course driving up and down pala rd, there was no signs that said golf course even though i could see the course. haha i got off the phone with my dad and he told me i needed to go back to rainbow canyon rd, so i turned into the median and pulled off onto the smoothed out dirt, let the traffic go by and then pulled onto the road again and a bike cop was sitting on the other side of the road and comes and pulls me over.
He asks for my drivers license and registration, i hand him the license and ask what i did wrong and he just looks at me and asks if im serious. i was like yeah what did i do. He was like you just crossed a divided highway. Those are double yellows that you crossed. I was like im not even from here and ive been looking for the golf course for an hour now, im lost. i just got off the phone and i know where i need to go. Then he starts being all nice and goes yeah its right down the road off of rainbow canyon rd. i was like yeah i know i just found that out. He goes well thats nice now info please then goes on to say im sure the laws in AZ are the same so i dont care. Goes and writes me a ticket for crossing a divided highway. Butthole, no warning no nothing, in the town im in there are no divided highways like that that run in our town, just the actually highway and freeways, But that didnt matter to him, I was just lost and where i was at i wouldnt have been able to make a u turn anywhere. i would have actually had to go down a street and find a spot to turn around then go back to the light and go from there.
Another reason why i will never live in calfornia, Money hungry state for sure. Cant even give a guy thats never been there thats lost and has no clue where hes going a break.
