yeah. majority of the day I was facing the sun.
I found the most difficult part was using zoom. I zoom in enough at a certain point hoping the car would perform a good drift there, but instead the best time to take a pic happens when the car is further away. So I have to quickly zoom in more and focus before the car leaves the focus point.

Perhaps I should take up photoshop?

I photoshop every picture I use for anything. Nothing drastic or surreal, just for color correction, clarity, and pop. Sometimes your camera doesn't see things the way your eye does.
