Metal sleeve on Koni Inserts B13
Heya.

Well I dunno how often Steve gets on this forum, but maybe someone else can help me answer this question.

My Koni yellow inserts I bought used, and the came with a set of gc springs. Now the sender had packaged them with little metal "sleeves' on the top to sort of extend the shock shaft up to the threads. These sleeves looked stock, but unfortunately one was lost during shipping.

Anyone know where I can get another one ,and if Koni has these? I looked around, as well as searched and couldn't find anything on these babies.

My drivers side feels really squishy as I had to use garden hose gaskets to make up for the extra 1/2 inch of space to tighten it down..

Thanks for the help

You should just boost it @ 37 psi.

Koni should have those. You might need to measure the length of the spacer and the inner/outer diameters of the spacer, but you should be able to get that from them.

Yea, I was trying to find a contact number or email from them, guess I will have to look harder..

Go to Lowes, get a metal spacer (even just a big nut) put it between the Koni Locknut and the tophat.

Edit: BTW, that is not a Koni piece you are looking at. B15 has taller tophats so the threads are not cut as deep.

Ahh, knew you would get it. Any idea on the inner dimension of that spacer or washer? I realize the outside doesn't matter as much. But yea, will do, thanks Steve.

Shaft should be 14mm, maybe 12mm on the smaller OEM inserts.

Just take the original nut to Lowes and go one size larger.
