Which coilover sleeves??
Alright, here's the deal,

I bought some GC coilovers from someone on the original forum, and when the coilovers came in, I realized the sleeves have pretty much gone to sh!t. I have contacted Ground Control and they say they can't sell the sleeves separately. My suspension set-up will be pretty stiff with 450lb. Front and 400 lbs. rear with some shortened Konis so I'll need some strong sleeves from another coilover set-up to go with these springs.
I've seen a lot of coilovers for the B13 on Ebay but I don't want to blindly get some crap from Ebay that ends up having the threads shred up in a few months. In your guys experience, what should I look for and if you have any suggestions, let me know, I want to get this set-up on my car and do it right. Thanks in advance.

Use the koni sleeves and perches. They are stronger and nicer than the GC ones for sure. I built my setup using the Koni sleeves. You may have to search the "other" forum but I posted complete pics. and part #'s for this setup!

I can't find your thread on the OG forum...however I did find this:http://www.panducky.com/Koni-Threaded-Spring-Perch-Sleeves_p_336-523.html

Now, If i was to run the CSK setup, couldn't I just run the OEM perches that are on the B13 strut? Also on the page i linked, it shows a" 2.5" spring adapter" for $18 and as my springs are 2.5 inch ID GC springs, would I need this? On the description in the bottom, it says it'll work with 2.5" springs, then why a seat adapter. Thanks for your help in all this, its appreciated

Here are the part #'s. The link you posted is partially correct. The rears you can typically use the smaller diameter sleeves as the rear strut housing is a smaller diameter on the B14's. If you are doing a B13 and doing rear inserts then use the larger sleeves front and rear.

The Koni sleeves or the GC sleeves sit on the OEM perch. I like to cut the OEM perch off and weld on a new perch, or at a minimum cut off most of the OEM perch to allow more clearance for tire.

This is my B13 build with pictures if it helps: Click

I had to purchase a new sleeve from GC, and they were good to deal with. I think it all depends on who you speak with. One of mine was slightly damaged when I purchased it from a forum member, and I told GC that. Depending on what occurred on your sleeves, just say something like "hey, I was running -2.5* camber and my tires rubbed on the sleeves" or something like that.
