Hmmm......I guess I may have to modify my procedure. The rear ones are fairly easy just use some WD-40 or some other penetrating oil and it makes the work alot easier. I have a flat head that is over a foot long that I use with a shorter one supporting/acting as a fulcrum once the bushing has been pushed down the control arm a bit. Just go to Homedepot and get one, saw those big screw drivers for under $10 the other day.

Ok so I finished installing the bushings and installed everything back on the car and took it for a test drive really quick but really didn't feel the stiffness. I havn't drove it since because I need to get some tags for it but I need to smog it first. I'm not worried about the smog though cuz I have everything on there and it runs good and no check engine light on so yea. Now as for how I removed the rear bushings, I broke off as much of the rubber stuff as possible and then carefully used my grinder to make one side of it flat, then used vice grips to persway it off. All in all, everything as far as the install goes, went well.

I thought you had to leave the outer sleeve in place on the Front control arm bushing when using ES inserts ????

Damn, thought I had a better pic showing the ES bushing, but I don't think there is a metal sleeve. Click on the second pic link, save it, look at the bottom - the o.d. of the bushing alone is as big as the entire OEM bushing assembly.

Well i will check when i get home but i remember the instructions said to remove the rubber from the stock bushing shell and leave it in the Arm, and then insert the new bushings.
Did you guys just use a vice or something to push them in ?
