My passenger side axle is possesed!!!!!
Ok I have a 91 b13 with a 6 puck clutch. I've been driving it for at least 6 months now with this new clutch and no problems. Then I a couple days ago I got real throttle happy and went crazy punching it through almost all my gears. Everything still seemed to be fine. So the next day, I go to my buddy fb_ser's house and when I'm about to leave, I noticed a big puddle under my car. So we move the car back thinking it was water cuz it was at night and to our surprise, it was tranny fluid. I take it home to find out my passenger axle was the cause of the spillage. It broke on the part thats suppossed to mount onto those 3 bolts. So I go to replace the axle and try for hours to take it off. I even call my other two buddies and nothing. Any advice cuz I'm almost ready to sell this car!

Sometimes you have to scream and curse at it... along with a little twisting and pulling, with the pry bar action... kicking with a tie rod fork, etc. More screaming. Make sure to bang your knuckles on something sharp for good measure... It will come, **** even 17 yr old axles come free with that combo. Trust me... And then when you take it out Scream at it "Bitch!"

So, what's the problem? Did you pull the end out of the hub? If so, then remove the 3 10mm bolts at the carrier, and it should just slide right out without drama. Look carefully at the carrier to figure out where it separates and tap it with a hammer if necessary, but it should just pull right out of the tranny with a mimimum of prying.

I'm just gonna drop the tranny tomorrow and c if I can get it off that way cuz this thing is seriously stuck. I even tried to pull it out with a chain hooked up to my truck and all it did was drag the car...... Yea this is real crazy!

Im just gonna drop the tranny and see if there's a way to take it apart and take it out cuz I'm pretty sure if a truck and chain couldnt do it, hours of hammering and prying didn't do it, then there's nothing else left to do but to drop the tranny. I'll let you guys know what winds up happening so that if anyone else goes through this problem, it will have been solved already. Thanks guys for your advice but "We're dealing with something far more advanced than normal." Hahaha
