^Classicaddict, I think this is a common thing with 91-94 Sentra's no matter the model. My 1.6L did the same thing as my 2.0L. I'm in the process of looking at my rack and pinion bushings to see if this is the main cause.
Check out what I have replaced from my post #17 and what I'm going to replace. If all the bushing are replaced and it still does this, then somewhere the power steering system is not holding pressure to keep it from doing this. My power steering pump does have 255k on it, and it is on it's last leg. My 1.6L only had about 165K, but I would say that is still a lot for the orginal OEM pump. Maybe I can get a VID of me driving and show you what I mean.
