If I am heading into a corner and off throttle, but in gear, the front really wants to push and not turn. The more throttle I give it the more the rear comes around. Hope that helps.

On my way in to work, with the new tires, it seems quite a bit better, the initial turn in is great and I didn't feel nearly as much front push. It was wet though so I didn't go that hard into the corners. Going in for alignment at 1pm, I will let you know the results.

Well, something funky happened. We were only able to get -1* out of the front drivers side. We left the rear at -1* and 0 toe, front also at 0 toe. I took some back roads this morning and WOW, these tires are amazing. The push is gone and it almost has some oversteer when pushed hard. I had to counter steer a little on a sweeping 90* slightly banked turn. Either the alignment was not correct before or the tires are allowing the suspension to do its job. Also low speed small roundabouts that used to cause it to push is no longer an issue, smooth all the way around with the rear end rotating nicely.

Did not compute to me either. There is no way the car is rotating around the rear end more while you apply throttle. That is against physics or something is wrong with the cars alignment to cause that to happen.

0 toe all around is perfect.

I did mention you would not gain much negative camber. The car needs lowered more to gain more static - camber. Or you can shorten the UCA, or find more adjustment in the superpro bushings.


It sounds like the car is back to normal handling properties given the recommending or set values. That is great to hear. The new tires will feel better after a few hundred miles when the tires properly break in.

I'm glad you got the car to a point where you're happy with it. It does sound fun, but I bet eventually you may tire of the amount of rotation you're experiencing. If you do, you'll know how to solve it (a little toe-in in the rear).
