Some quick googling looking for other cars that might have a suitable shorter end link:
Stock B13 Sentra
Nissan Altima 2002 thru 2006
Nissan Maxima 2004 thru 2006
The Sentra seems to be a bit of an odd duck as far as these end links go, aftermarket parts that have a pivot end so far seem to have these at both ends, not at one end and a threaded bolt piece at the other like the Sentra. This would complicate a new bracket just slightly, but it's still workable.
I'm also mulling over using a front sway bar link, these are generally shorter which is what I'm looking for, and have the threaded end on one side like I'd like. I can't imagine why the part wouldn't work if the material was of similar thickness and the pivot end fit in the stock sway bar.
Looks like another junkyard trip this weekend for research...
