KYB in itself sucks. They
were fined a few millions of dollars for price gouging on certain performance lines such as the AGX for specialty cars such as the Sentra SE-R.
I had AGXs with Hypercoils and one pothole hit and the springs blew the struts out. You simply cannot place a variable rate spring with a sub-par damper such as an AGX in the conditions I had. Ever since that one hard hit, they never rode the same again.
Hopefully your roads in South Carolina are much better condition than the ones I have up here in the Road Salt capital of the United States. That would greatly impact my decision on whether or not to re-use AGX. At least for the front. The rears seem to be completely fine but the fronts are a different story. Ten plus years of experience with the AGX and Hypercoils and I have had a pretty hefty fill.
