B13 Addco Rear swaybar installation
Addco claims they mount to OEM points. Buuuuut I'm looking at the bar and the links, and wondering if I need to fab up the same bracket as the ST needs to mount on the bottom of the knuckle. Does someone have a b13 with this bar? Searching rendered a lot of people with them on, but zero photos and zero installation conversation.

Closing the loop - Squirlz had his on a p10, and used stocker swaybar links. Assuming the b13 has no suprises, I can expect the same. I will post photos during the install tonite.

Just make sure you load the rear suspension when putting it on. I forgot to do it with my progress bars and was like wtf, then I realized and was like ahhh.

I made the mistake of using spring compressors on the bar when installing my agx's - at one point it let go and trapped my hand in between the bar and the control arm. Lucky I didn't break something. Stupid stupid stupid.

Addco products are great. I have both for my B13 and P10. I installed the P10 and my small issues was the coating material was so thick, it made the holes for my OEM end links to go into quite difficult. A bit of work in those holes with a rasp to enlarge the holes and I had to provide one of my own bolts, nuts, washers and lock washers to secure the body bushings to the bar.

I certainly like the idea of an American company that I can call, speak to a wonderful "Southern Bell" with that voice oh so heavenly and get some help real fast. Good company and a good product.

B13 Addco Rear swaybar installation
Sooooo I'm not totally convinced I did this right. First of all, addco said I could use all original stuff and it turns out theres no way we can use the original swaybar endlinks. Second, Justin chaplain dickhead extraordinare gave me the wrong bolts and nuts to mount it. Thirdly, the brackets have no orientation marks. So opinions? Did I do this right? I think I'll flip the bolts so the nut is on the bottom because of clearance issues, but other than that? The brackets too didn't look quite right....angle wise.

Ok, shock is subsiding.

Those are progress parts. Is that a Progress bar or an addco bar? Take a caliper and measure the bar in three different areas to hopefully come up with the same number. Until then, do not drive the car like that. It is un-safe.

That's very unhelpful lol
Yah I measured it prior to installation, 3/4". The only reason I said it's addco is because chaplain said it was. Guess that means it's not. Surprise surprise...how do I fix it?

Thanks for measuring at least. 19mm is the Addco size. 22mm is the Progress rear sway bar size. Since I see two different brands here. I will try my best to help.

First, remove all the bars and make the rear trailing arm just like it was before you took it apart. Nothing connected to the outside bolt like you have in the photo. OEM as fawk. This must be done, laden, or weighted just like it would be driving on the road. The car on its own weight. That fixes tyhe trailing arm.

The addco bar mounts just like factory. To the Strut. If your strut does not have the tab then we have to address another problem.

Awaiting any other replies.
