Thread: 225/45r15 equivalent/alternative

I bought some 225/45r15 Toyo R888 for my 15x8 6UL, they are $200+ a piece down here and I only bought them for the front for some extra traction on my turbo SE-R. I would love to buy the other two for the rear but they are too pricey for now, and I've only found performance (expensive) tires on that size.

I'm trying to find another tire size that ends up having the same side wall height mounted on a 15x8 wheel. Any pointers would be appreciated.

I did 225/45/15 bf Goodrich rivals up front and the good ol 205 50 15 615k on rear they look same sidewall to me

OP, a 205/50/15 will be as close as it gets. Here are some numbers

225/45/15: 583.5mm (total tire diameter)
205/50/15: 586mm (total tire diameter)
