Struts and Alignment
This afternoon I replaced the knuckle/spindle, tie rod and ball joint on both the driver and passenger side. The alignment is now all out of whack. I was going to drop it off at the shop in the morning to get an alignment. However, I will replacing the struts/springs here in the next couple of days. Will replacing just the strut throw the alignment out again?

Yes.... this was answered in shoutbox yesterday. Did you not believe them?

Anytime you replace parts of the suspension, 9 times out of 10 it will affect the geometric angles the suspension have. On the front strut cars you own, anytime you take apart and re assemble those parts, a re alignment should be done.

Cliff notes: Change all your parts and when sll the parts are replaced, go get your front wheels aligned. If this is for your B13, you can have a four wheel alignment done.

When I try to scroll up to view previous messages on shoutbox, it always jumps back to the bottom before I have a chance to find and read what I am looking for.

Try clicking the small drop-down arrow next to "The Dash Chat" and hit "Archive". That freezes text in timestamp form and allows much simpler processing.
