Possible custom trailing arms?
This would be pretty much for the hardcore drag racing guys.
I am interested in trying to reach out to a couple of companies to see if they would be on board for this. KS Tuned is one company who makes the Honda guys a rear trailing arm kit. This gives them an option of shifting back the rear wheels, extending the wheelbase. This helps keeps the weight transfer to the front which in turn will net better 60ft times. I would do the custom setup the PR guys run since they have adjustability but it is not allowed here and if I want to run some of the classes, I need to have a trunk and factory suspension mounting points.
Reason for this thread is a few simple questions.
Do you think the bushings will have enough play say if we shifted the wheels back 1 or 2 inches?
Would making a custom trailing arm with adjustable heim joints allow you to align the rear wheels properly? I am afraid of pushing the wheels back and then having toe issues.
Who would be interested, if anyone?
Main goal is to help get some solid 60' times. Curious to hear thoughts from the suspension gurus. Here is a link on what tons of Honda guys used with great success:

Thanks.
